Job Description

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Senior Field Technician for Brazil Remote Work. This role involves corrective and preventive maintenance, site optimization, installation and configuration of radios, infrastructure troubleshooting, and reporting. The ideal candidate will have a technical background in Telecommunications, Electrical, or Electronics, with mandatory experience in RF systems, APCO25, DMR, and/or DIMETRA, along with certifications like NR35 and NR10. The position requires availability for 50% travel.

Good To Have:

Knowledge in IP networks, network design, and troubleshooting (CCNA or COMPTIA a plus).
Notions of Operating Systems configuration (Unix, Linux, Windows Server) - experience is a plus.
Intermediate English: conversation and writing.
Knowledge in Zabbix.

Must Have:

Perform corrective and preventive maintenance.
Optimize sites and generate RF reports.
Install and configure radios, replace parts.
Troubleshoot infrastructure issues.
Provide field support and interface with NOC.
Possess CFT certification in Telecommunications, Electrical, or Electronics.
Have 5+ years experience in RF systems, APCO25, DMR, or DIMETRA.
Proficient in Office Suite and Google Tools.
Knowledgeable in telecom infrastructure, RF, towers, and structured cabling.
Certified in NR35 (work at height) and NR10.
Hold a valid Category B Driver's License.
Available for 50% travel.

Site Optimization (RF Report);
Installation and Replacement of parts and pieces;
Radio Installation and Configuration;
Infrastructure Troubleshooting;
Ticket closing report;
Field support and troubleshooting;
Interface and support to NOC for call handling;
Preparation of call reports.

Basic Requirements

Base in Porto Alegre/ RS
Education (Technician) Telecommunications, Electrical, Electronics - CFT is mandatory;
5 years of experience in technical support and implementation of RF systems - mandatory;
5 years of experience in APCO25, DMR and/or DIMETRA - mandatory;
Knowledge in IP networks, network design, and troubleshooting - desirable and CCNA or COMPTIA will be a differential;
Proficiency in Office Suite: (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and Google Tools: (Docs, Sheets, Presentation);
Knowledge in Telecommunications infrastructure, RF, towers and structured cabling;
Notions of Operating Systems configuration (Unix, Linux and Windows Server) - experience is a differential;
Experience in working at height with NR35 - mandatory
NR10 - mandatory;
ITIL or COBIT - desirable;
