We’re hiring an Account Executive – Brand & Marketing for a hybrid opportunity in Mettawa, Illinois. This is a 12-month project with a global biopharmaceutical company’s in-house advertising agency.
In this role, you'll serve as the primary liaison between the agency and brand teams, managing day-to-day relationships, guiding creative development, and ensuring that all initiatives align with brand strategy and business goals. You’ll collaborate with creative teams, vendors, and cross-functional partners to deliver compliant, high-quality marketing materials that drive meaningful results.
Account Executive – Brand & Marketing Responsibilities:
- Partner with brand teams to develop and execute creative briefs and promotional strategies.
- Provide strategic direction and counsel to ensure alignment with brand goals and sales objectives.
- Oversee projects from initiation through completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and brand standards.
- Collaborate with creative, production, and regulatory teams to ensure compliant and effective communications.
- Maintain a strong knowledge of corporate branding, review promotional materials, and compliance processes.
- Manage communication and workflow between teams, issuing contact reports and tracking deliverables.
- Facilitate timely project updates and ensure all initiatives are completed on time and within budget.
- Prepare annual forecasts and conduct monthly financial reconciliations.
- Track project time and maintain accurate documentation.
Account Executive – Brand & Marketing Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
- 1–3 years of account management or marketing experience, ideally within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- In-house or external advertising agency experience is a plus.
- Deep understanding of brand strategy, marketing objectives, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong creative thinking, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and collaborate effectively.
- Skilled at conflict resolution and driving projects toward successful outcomes.
- Proficiency in project management and financial tracking tools.
- Positive, proactive attitude with the ability to balance big-picture strategy and detailed execution.
