Job Summary

Salesforce is seeking an Account Executive for Small Business Core to manage a dedicated territory in the Emerging or Growth Business space. This role involves overseeing the entire sales cycle, focusing on new business sales, and rapidly growing existing accounts. The Account Executive will use solution selling expertise to identify business potential, build strategic partnerships, and strengthen client relationships through regular engagement. Collaboration with internal teams and participation in industry events are also key aspects of this mission.

Must Have

  • Manage a dedicated territory in the Emerging (1-50 employees) or Growth Business (51-300 employees) space
  • Oversee the entire sales cycle
  • Lead the sales process to ensure delivery against key performance metrics
  • Strong focus on new business sales
  • Rapidly grow existing accounts
  • Use solution selling expertise to respond effectively to customer needs and identify business potential
  • Build strategic, long-term partnerships
  • Strengthen client relationships through regular engagement and face-to-face meetings
  • Coordinate and lead industry events and user groups to generate market interest
  • Collaborate with Core AEs, Sales Specialists, Business Developers, Pre-sales, and Marketers
  • Close opportunities at assigned existing accounts and drive sales at new accounts
  • Drive sales within the assigned SMB segments
  • Acquire new logos within the assigned territory
  • Speak to Salesforce offerings as they relate to customer needs
  • Effectively manage multiple accounts and sales
  • Proven track record of success in sales
  • 1 to 5 years of experience in the entire sales cycle of complex SAAS solutions
  • Ability to build positive relationships internally and with customers
  • Effective communication skills
  • Successful history of net new business sales
  • Ability to consistently deliver against targets
  • A strong drive, adaptability, and enthusiasm
  • Advanced level of English

Your Mission as an Account Executive:

  • Manage a dedicated territory in the Emerging (1-50 employees) or Growth Business (51-300 employees) space, overseeing the entire sales cycle. You’ll coordinate multiple sales projects simultaneously and take full responsibility for your customers.
  • Lead the sales process to ensure delivery against key performance metrics, with a strong focus on new business sales, while rapidly growing existing accounts.
  • Use your solution selling expertise to respond effectively to customer needs and identify business potential, building strategic, long-term partnerships.
  • Strengthen client relationships through regular engagement and face-to-face meetings.
  • Coordinate and lead industry events and user groups to generate market interest.
  • Collaborate with our team of Core AEs, Sales Specialists, Business Developers, Pre-sales, and Marketers for all sales leads and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Close opportunities at assigned existing accounts and drive sales at new accounts.
  • Drive sales within the assigned segment (SMB segments).
  • Acquire new logos within the assigned territory.
  • Speak to Salesforce offerings as they relate to customer needs and engage other Salesforce resources as required.
  • Effectively manage multiple accounts and sales, with support from our team to ensure a balanced workload.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Proven track record of success in sales.
  • 1 to 5 years of experience in the entire sales cycle of complex SAAS solutions.
  • Ability to build positive relationships internally and with customers, demonstrating credibility and trust.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to build influential relationships and deliver results in a cross-functional environment.
  • Successful history of net new business sales, with the ability to consistently deliver against targets.
  • A strong drive, adaptability, and enthusiasm to build a career at Salesforce.
  • Advanced level of English.
