Job Description

Sony Pictures Television Studios is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support two executives within the drama development team. The role requires a proactive communicator who can anticipate executive needs, manage schedules, coordinate travel, process expenses, and handle various administrative tasks to ensure the department runs smoothly. The assistant will also be involved in reading scripts, reviewing dailies, and summarizing meeting notes.
Good To Have:
  • Prior experience in entertainment preferred
  • Education: B.A., B.S., or equivalent experience
Must Have:
  • Provide organizational and administrative support to department executives
  • Anticipate needs of the executive(s) and stay two steps ahead
  • Coordinate travel, visas, schedules, and other travel logistics
  • Generate travel and expense reports
  • Schedule/Calendar/Phone management; keep execs on schedule
  • Create and maintain global contacts
  • Read scripts, review dailies, summarize notes from development meetings/calls
  • Invoice tracking & processing
  • Create and update presentations, letters, and other forms of management reports and communications
  • Manage calendar and activities (Setting meetings, Call list, etc.)
  • Internet research
  • Special projects as required

We are looking for an assistant to join our drama development team, supporting two execs. The ideal candidate will be a proactive communicator who can anticipate the needs of the executives to keep the department on track.

Responsibilities

  • Provide organizational and administrative support to the department execs, anticipating needs of the executive(s) and always being two steps ahead
  • Coordinate travel, visas, schedules and other travel logistics
  • Generate travel and expense reports
  • Schedule/Calendar/Phone management; keep execs on schedule
  • Create and maintain global contacts
  • Read scripts, review dailies, summarize notes from development meetings/calls
  • Invoice tracking & processing
  • Create and update presentations, letters, and other forms of management reports and communications
  • Manage calendar and activities (Setting meetings, Call list, etc.)
  • Internet research
  • Special projects as required

  • Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Internet savvy)
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong written and verbal presentation skills

  • Prior experience in entertainment preferred
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Education: B.A., B.S., or equivalent experience

The anticipated base salary for this position is $63,232.00 - $79,040.00. This role may also qualify for annual incentive and/or comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
