Job Description: Data Science Analyst

Role: Data Analyst

Work Experience: 5+ years’ experience

Key Skills: 3+ years of experience as data science analyst or Machine learning engineer.

Should have hands-on experience with Machine learning algorithms and models, statistical modeling, visualization techniques, and data sciences concepts.
 

Should have strong proficiency in Python/R or any other analytical tool.

Hands-on experience with libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, Seaborn, NLTK, etc.

Should be experienced in SQL and operated on new-age technologies like Azure, Teradata, Power BI, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data exploration, analysis, visualization, and presentation
• Analyse and interpret trends or patterns in data sets
• Use a variety of data tools, build and implement models, create algorithms and run simulations
   

Business & Technical Skills:

• Knowledge on methodologies to clarify business requirements including design thinking, business process design, personas, user stories, etc.
• Use analytical, statistical, and programming skills to collect, analyze, and interpret large data sets
• Technical expertise in developing data models (prediction & forecasting models), data wrangling, data mining, and segmentation techniques

General Skills:

• An excellent team player, balanced with strong autonomy and high motivation to produce individually
• Someone open to new ideas and innovative in approach
• Proactively learns new technologies and pushes for driving the same in his/her space of work.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in statistics, Maths or computer science.
