Job Summary
Job Description
As an Animation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing animation runtimes and tools for game consoles. You will also develop tools to convert data created in DCC tools like Maya into optimal data for game runtimes. The role requires deep knowledge of game animation, experience with C/C++, knowledge of Newtonian mechanics, IK, and linear algebra. The role includes responsibilities in designing tools, and converting data for the game engine. The job offers an opportunity to work on cutting-edge game development using a unique game engine.
Must have:
- Deep knowledge of game animation
- Experience with C/C++
- Knowledge of Newtonian mechanics
- Knowledge of IK
- Knowledge of linear algebra
Good to have:
- Game development experience on PlayStation or PC
- Experience with animation middleware
- Knowledge of MotionBuilder
- Knowledge of full body IK
- Knowledge of Human IK
- Experience in creating animation exporters in Maya
- Experience in Windows tool development
