Automotive Quality Controller - Autohero (M/F)

This role involves performing quality control checks on used vehicles at Autohero's reconditioning center in Montataire, France. Responsibilities include entry checks for equipment and conformity, quality checks on workshop repairs (bodywork, mechanics), and final exit checks for aesthetics and functionality. The position also requires taking marketing photos of vehicles, highlighting both strengths and imperfections. Candidates should have a background in automotive maintenance and a valid B driving license.

Must Have

• Perform entry checks on purchased vehicles (equipment, conformity, bodywork imperfections).
• Conduct quality checks on workshop repairs (bodywork, mechanics, dent removal, polishing).
• Execute final exit checks (interior/exterior aesthetics, license plates, fuel level, tire pressure, dashboard info, technical control, key test).
• Take marketing photos of vehicles, including aesthetic shots and highlighting imperfections.
• Hold a BEP or CAP in automotive vehicle maintenance or equivalent.
• Possess a valid B driving license.
• Be comfortable with computer tools.

Job Description

In our new reconditioning center based in Montataire (60), we are looking for a Used Vehicle Quality Controller & Photographer on a permanent contract (CDI) with staggered hours (either 6h-14h45 / or 14h15-23h).

Reporting to the AutoHero Used Vehicle Quality Control Manager, you will be required to perform either entry, post-reconditioning, or exit controls.

"Entry Check" Control:

• Control of equipment on vehicles purchased by AutoHero to validate the options with which our vehicles are equipped
• Control of vehicle conformity (cabin condition, equipment functionality)
• Definition of bodywork imperfections to be repaired in the workshop
• Recording of bodywork imperfections left on the vehicles

"Quality Check" Control:

• Control of work carried out by Autohero workshop teams (bodywork, mechanics, dent removal, polishing)
• Quality checklist (fuel level, warning lights, maintenance, cleanliness, battery)
• Reporting of customer imperfections for the photo lab team (using a ruler)
• Control of tire wear, spare wheel and/or repair kit
• Verification of up-to-date technical inspection

"Exit Check" Control:

• Final aesthetic control of interior, exterior, advertising, license plates
• Final quality checklist (fuel level and pressure control, tire and spare wheel condition, reset of all on-board information, technical control and key test).

You will also be responsible for taking marketing photos of vehicles for sale, including aesthetic photos as well as photos highlighting the vehicle's strengths and imperfections.

Qualifications

• From a BEP or CAP in automotive vehicle maintenance or equivalent, you have initial experience in this field
• Valid B driving license
• Passion for automobiles
• Comfortable with computer tools
• Knowledge in mechanics / bodywork and multi-brand experience would be a plus;
• You are invested, rigorous with a taste for a job well done.
