As a Brand Copywriter at Entain Australia & New Zealand, you will define the voice for leading brands like Ladbrokes, Neds, TAB, and Betcha. You'll evolve tone-of-voice frameworks and guide brand storytelling across the marketing funnel, from awareness to loyalty. This role involves crafting distinctive, emotionally resonant content for all touchpoints, partnering with various teams, and ensuring brand voice consistency. It's an opportunity to strategically shape brand identity through words in a hybrid work model based in Brisbane.

  • Define, craft, and evolve brand tone of voice across all channels.

  • Develop message hierarchies and communication frameworks.
  • Partner with Brand Architects, Creative, Media, and Production teams.
  • Act as guardian of brand voice, ensuring consistency.
  • Proven experience as a copywriter or brand storyteller.
  • Deep understanding of tone of voice, brand language, and persuasive storytelling.
  • Skilled at writing for multiple brand personalities and audience segments.
  • Confident collaboration with strategists, creatives, and media teams.
  • Excellent attention to detail, grammar, and writing rhythm.

As our Brand Copywriter, you’ll define how some of the most recognised names in sport and entertainment sound. From the excitement of Ladbrokes to the energy of Neds, the legacy of TAB, and the next-gen edge of Betcha - you’ll help each brand speak in its own voice, while ensuring a unified story across the portfolio.

You’ll play a key role in evolving our tone-of-voice frameworks and guiding how brand storytelling flows through every stage of the marketing funnel – from awareness to loyalty.

A Day in the Life

Ideally based in our Brisbane office, we work in a hybrid model that balances collaboration and flexibility.

Here’s a snapshot of how you’ll make an impact:

  • Define, craft, and evolve the tone of voice for each brand across all channels.
  • Translate brand positioning and strategy into distinctive, emotionally resonant storytelling.
  • Write for every touchpoint - ATL, digital, social, and in-venue experiences.
  • Develop message hierarchies and frameworks that guide communication across the funnel.
  • Partner with Brand Architects, Creative, Media, and Production teams to bring campaigns to life.
  • Act as guardian of brand voice, ensuring consistency and connection across every audience interaction.

Your Strengths

  • Proven experience as a copywriter or brand storyteller across ATL, digital, and social campaigns.
  • Deep understanding of tone of voice, brand language, and persuasive storytelling.
  • Skilled at writing for multiple brand personalities and audience segments.
  • Confident collaborator - able to partner with strategists, creatives, and media teams to align copy with brand intent.
  • Excellent attention to detail, grammar, and rhythm with a sensitivity to how language makes people feel.
  • Experience in agency or high-tempo brand environments and familiarity with testing and message optimisation is ideal.
