As a Business Analyst / Application Developer, you will be a key contributor to the Product Creation Processes & Methods (PCPM) team within the CTO Office. Your primary focus will be on the technical ownership of enterprise-wide applications used for critical decision-making in portfolio management. You will develop and refine the in-house VBA programmed tool, which calculates the financial impact of projects, and ensure seamless data flow and integration within the Portfolio Management Tool. This role involves collaborating with Finance, Project/Program Management, and Product Management teams, driving global project and portfolio management initiatives, and enhancing your understanding of financial concepts and data analytics. You will also contribute to tool strategy, train stakeholders, and monitor data integrity.
Must have:
  • University degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Proficient in Excel and VBA programming.
  • Experience with tools like Power Query, Power BI, and programming languages such as DAX, M, and SQL.
  • Conceptual thinker with attention to detail, self-motivated, and a team player.

In this unique role, you’ll become part of the Product Creation Processes & Methods (PCPM) team within the CTO Office. The Product Creation Processes and Methods are used for all new product and technology introductions across NXP. Your role will focus on the technical ownership of two enterprise-wide applications used for critical decision-making across the organizations focusing on portfolio management. You will be a key contributor to our continued growth and success. This challenging position also offers excellent growth potential for your competences and skills, enabling NXP’s Innovation Engine.

Your Role

As a technical expert for the Business Case Tool, you will develop and refine the inhouse VBA programmed tool, which calculates the financial impact of projects. Thereby, supporting project and product managers in making strategic decisions. You will collaborate closely with Project Management and Finance teams to align on future enhancements of the tool, ensuring the tool remains a cornerstone of NXP’s success.

In overseeing the Portfolio Management Tool, you will provide a comprehensive overview of all projects within business portfolios, essential for portfolio decision-making and business continuity. Acting as the key liaison between business line users, project managers, and tool suppliers, you will ensure seamless data flow and integration, maintaining the integrity of critical information.

Your Responsibilities

·       You will contribute to the development and strategy of the Business Case and Portfolio Management tools, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of the organization.

·       Training stakeholders on tool usage and identifying automation opportunities will be key aspects of your role.

·       You will design, implement, and validate tool enhancements in collaboration with key stakeholders, and monitor the integrity of data flow between systems.

Your Profile

To be successful in this role, you should

·       have a university degree in Computer Science, IT, Mathematics, or Economics with a focus on Data Analytics and Programming.

·       be proficient in Excel and VBA programming is essential.

·       have some experience in tools like Power Query, Power BI, and programming languages such as DAX, M, and SQL.

·       be a conceptual thinker with attention to detail, self-motivated, and a team player.
