Job Description

Iron Mountain is seeking a Business Development Executive for Global Industries in Mexico City. This role involves generating sales and profits by leveraging in-depth knowledge of Iron Mountain's products and services, building long-lasting relationships with C-Level clients, identifying new business opportunities, and managing global accounts. The executive will focus on developing commercial projects tailored to client needs and ensuring client satisfaction.
Must Have:
  • Establish communication channels between Iron Mountain and C-Level clients (decision-makers) to develop commercial projects tailored to the client's needs
  • Differentiate the needs of key clients and AAA markets or sectors
  • Address and resolve client requests regarding contracted services
  • Prepare and submit the Pipeline report in a timely manner to monitor sales quota achievement by the Sales Management of the location
  • Manage and maintain high-level commercial relationships with GI clients
  • Understand and meet booking sales budgets and billing sales goals, reporting progress to the sales manager
  • Remain up-to-date on the industry, competitors, and clients to ensure satisfaction and deliver exceptional service
  • Experience as a seller of intangible services and solutions
  • High level of English
  • Experience selling to large global accounts in industries such as finance, banking, insurance, healthcare, retail, pharmaceuticals, automotive, etc.
  • Experience interacting with multinational accounts
  • Experience in multi-country negotiations
  • Timely follow-up on current client growth
  • Knowledge of Salesforce
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suites and Google Workspace

The Global Account Business Development Executive will generate sales and profits for the company through in-depth knowledge of Iron Mountain products and services. They will be able to clearly communicate the benefits and advantages to Global Industries (GI) clients and potential areas for increased business.

They must be able to build and maintain long-lasting relationships with Global Industries (GI) clients, be proactive in identifying new business opportunities, and have a goal-oriented approach.

In short, maximize the company's sales and profitability while establishing and maintaining positive client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish various communication channels between Iron Mountain and C-Level clients (decision-makers) to develop commercial projects tailored to the client's needs.
  • Differentiate the needs of key clients and AAA markets or sectors.
  • Address and resolve client requests regarding contracted services.
  • Prepare and submit the Pipeline report in a timely manner to monitor sales quota achievement by the Sales Management of the location.
  • Manage and maintain high-level commercial relationships with GI clients.
  • Understand and meet booking sales budgets and billing sales goals, reporting progress to the sales manager.
  • Remain up-to-date on the industry, competitors, and clients to ensure satisfaction and deliver exceptional service.

Performance Metrics:

  • New sales in assigned GI client vertical.
  • Compliance with monthly, quarterly, and annual quotas.
  • Pipeline Accuracy.
  • Generation of account and territory plans.

Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications:

  • Experience as a seller of intangible services and solutions.
  • High level of English.
  • Experience selling to large global accounts in industries such as finance, banking, insurance, healthcare, retail, pharmaceuticals, automotive, etc.
  • Experience interacting with multinational accounts.
  • Experience in multi-country negotiations.
  • Timely follow-up on current client growth.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce.
