Job Description

The Change Management and Communications Lead will play a crucial role in supporting a company-wide Workforce Infrastructure transformation. This individual will be responsible for designing and executing the change and communications strategy in collaboration with EA's PMO, Global Talent, and Compensation teams. The role involves aligning senior leaders, creating compelling narratives, and increasing adoption of new job architecture, compensation models, and workforce practices. Key responsibilities include leading the end-to-end change strategy, guiding partner-specific change execution plans, and developing strategic messaging for various audiences. This is a full-time, 18-month temporary, hybrid role with benefits.

Change Management and Communications Lead

Los Angeles, CA, Orlando, FL, Austin, TX or Vancouver, BC – Hybrid 

We're hiring a Change Management and Communications Lead to support a company-wide Workforce Infrastructure transformation. You will lead the design and execution of the change and communications strategy in close partnership with EA’s PMO, Global Talent, and Compensation teams.

You will work with executive sponsors and teams to align partners, create compelling narratives, and increase adoption of new job architecture, compensation models, and workforce practices. You will have no direct people management responsibilities and report to the Director of Learning and Development within the Global Talent team. This is an 18- month, full-time temporary, hybrid role with benefits.

Important Responsibilities

    Define and lead the end-to-end change strategy, including the “from–to” journey and sustainment

    Align senior leaders on vision, roles, outcomes, and decisions

    Lead assessments to tailor change approaches across departments and job families.

    Guide partner-specific change execution plans with project and vendor teams

    Translate complex changes into clear, tailored adoption plans and timelines

    Clarify role and compensation impacts across departments and job families

    Navigate sensitive dynamics with contextual and historical awareness

    Lead adoption of new job architecture, standards, and compensation model

    Design long-term sustainment plans to embed change in operations and governance

    Develop strategic messaging for executives, managers, and employees

    Build multi-channel communications plans

    Demonstrate creativity with changing requirements and constraints to recalibrate the team to targeted outcomes.

Qualifications

    8-10+ years in change management, strategic communications, or related fields

    Experience leading complex change in large, matrixed organizations

    Experience simplifying complex topics into compelling, audience-specific narratives

    Comfortable aligning team members, at all levels, around shared goals

    Experience creating executive-level messaging and engagement strategies

    Experience and practical creativity using change frameworks in enterprise transformations
