The CNC Machine Operator at Pentair performs various machining operations including facing, turning, boring, and drilling using CNC equipment and manual machines. Responsibilities include reading part drawings, using precision measuring equipment, maintaining coolant ratios, and performing routine maintenance. The role requires working from verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision, knowledge of machining processes, basic hand gauging, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a team environment. This is a full-time, onsite position in Delavan, WI, with an hourly pay range of $24.00 - $26.00.
Must Have:- Perform operations necessary to face, turn, bore, chamfer, groove, thread, drill, tap, and wash a variety of materials and parts
- Utilize CNC equipment, manual machines, precision measuring equipment, overhead hoists, hand tools/power tools/air tools, and refractometer
- Read part drawings and use adjustable and fixed gauges to check work
- Maintain proper coolant ratios and levels and perform routine maintenance
- Work from verbal instructions, written work instructions, and quality plans with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of machining processes
- Basic hand gauging (calipers, micrometer, torque wrench etc.)
- Problem solving skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
