The Complaints Specialist 1 will analyze returned Philips devices, support CAPAs, and analyze complaint data. Key responsibilities include verifying returned items, completing documentation, performing visual inspections and decontamination, and collaborating with regional teams on device shipments. The role involves conducting detailed product investigations to confirm reported issues and providing feedback to development and manufacturing teams for product improvements and safety evaluations.
Good To Have:
  • Experience with Complaints processing or direct role in handling/decontaminating bio-hazard product.
Must Have:
  • Verify returned Philips devices against reports.
  • Complete required documentation and organize devices.
  • Perform visual inspections and full decontamination.
  • Ensure cleaning supplies are stocked.
  • Collaborate with regional teams on device shipments and investigation.
  • Resolve discrepancies and close complaint records with Complaints team.
  • Conduct detailed product investigations.
  • Student in Industrial, Electronic, Electromechanical, Quality, materials, or chemical engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Advanced Office knowledge.
  • English knowledge written and spoken B1.
  • 0-1 year experience in complaints processing and/or investigation in Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, or Biopharmaceutical industry.
  • Exposure to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) environment.

Complaints Specialist 1

Perform analysis of returned devices. Support CAPAs, analyze complaint data, other additional tasks as needed. Provide feedback to the development and manufacturing teams on potential product improvements, product defects, and safety evaluations.

Your role:

  • Receives and verifies returned Philips devices, ensuring they match reported items.
  • Completes all required documentation and organizes devices by aging status.
  • Performs visual inspections and full decontamination using bleach and glutaraldehyde.
  • Ensures cleaning supplies, labels, and containers are adequately stocked.
  • Collaborates with regional teams to manage device shipments and investigation progress.
  • Works closely with the Complaints team to resolve discrepancies and close complaint records.
  • Conducts detailed product investigations to confirm reported issues.

You're the right fit if:

  • Student in Industrial Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Quality Engineering, materials, chemical or similar, or a combination of equivalent job experience in related field.
  • Advanced Office knowledge.
  • English knowledge written and spoken B1
  • 0-1 year experience in complaints processing and/or investigation in the Medical Device, Pharmaceutical or Biopharmaceutical industry or related experience.
  • Experience with Complaints processing or direct role in handling/decontaminating bio-hazard product (preferred)
  • Exposure to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) environment

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.

Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.

Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
