Must Have:

  • Ensure compliance with security controls, process monitoring, and segregation of duties.
  • Coordinate the incorporation and support of new applications, adhering to company guidelines.
  • Oversee the implementation of technological updates to reduce security risks and prevent system obsolescence.
  • Evaluate team performance, identify improvement opportunities, and provide professional development.
  • Collaborate with other IT areas, providers, and business users for effective solutions.
  • Assign and manage resources efficiently to meet support demands and business requirements.
  • Manage contracts and support conditions with providers, ensuring compliance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an IT leadership role, preferably in Oracle application consulting or support.
  • Demonstrable experience in team management and interaction with internal clients and coordinators.
  • Advanced English.

TelevisaUnivision is looking for a Consulting Manager, Oracle Support for the IT area.

The Application Consulting and Support area within IT is responsible for ensuring the continuous and efficient operation of corporate applications, overseeing the attention and resolution of incidents, as well as user requirements. The area ensures compliance with SLAs (Service Level Agreements) and established controls, maintaining the stability, availability, and performance of applications.

In addition, it coordinates the incorporation of new applications into the support process, ensuring that they comply with defined guidelines and standards, and provides direction to support teams to promote continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and user area satisfaction.

About you:

Supervise and coordinate the attention and resolution of incidents and requirements related to corporate applications, ensuring that established SLAs (Service Level Agreements) and controls are met. In addition, ensure that new applications integrated into the support process comply with internal guidelines and standards, contributing to the stability, availability, and optimal performance of the company's systems.

Your day to day / Responsibilities

  • Direct and support team leaders and analysts, fostering a collaborative work environment and promoting continuous team improvement.
  • Coordinate and supervise application support, ensuring that established SLAs (Service Level Agreements) are met to maintain system stability and availability.
  • Apply best practices, such as ITIL, in incident, problem, and change management, seeking to optimize resources and improve the quality of service to users.
  • Ensure compliance with security controls, process monitoring, segregation of duties, and any other regulatory aspect related to supported applications.
  • Coordinate the incorporation and support of new applications, ensuring that they comply with the guidelines and controls established by the company.
  • Oversee the implementation of technological updates that reduce security risks and prevent system obsolescence.
  • Periodically evaluate team performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and providing professional development to team members.
  • Collaborate with other IT areas, providers, and business users to offer effective solutions to reported incidents and problems.
  • Assign and manage resources efficiently to cover support demands and meet business requirements.
  • Manage contracts and support conditions with providers, following up on compliance with established agreements.

You must have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an IT leadership role, preferably in Oracle application consulting or support.
  • Demonstrable experience in team management and interaction with internal clients and coordinators.
  • Advanced English.
