Our content team connects brands with audiences through compelling storytelling, predominantly through social media, and advises our clients on areas of content optimization. We look after an amassed community of over 600 million followers across some of the biggest accounts in sports. Our award-winning in-house team spans Strategy, Insights, Studio and Production.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a smart, dynamic and ambitious person interested in working for an exciting sports and entertainment agency on the North American side.
About the role
The role is an early hire within our burgeoning North American Content Strategy team, a cross-business function of strategists, creatives, client leads and channel managers. You’ll take a critical role in delivery of best-in-class strategy and creative across our existing and potential clients, primarily (but not limited to) those based in North America.

From brand-building and driving first-party data, to ideating and briefing feed-breaking creative, you know what makes social communities thrive, and why that’s important for our clients.
You are:
- Equal parts passionate and knowledgeable about storytelling and social media: You understand how platforms build brands and communities and the role they play in achieving broader business goals, and which levers to pull for different sets of circumstances
- A creative thinker: You combine data and insight with creativity, always considering how to deliver for the audience and how to create best-in-class social and creative content
- A skilled writer: You know how to use your words succinctly and effectively, whether it’s in a pitch deck or in a line of social media copy – and your attention to detail is on point.
- A confident communicator: Whether pitching to a client, presenting internally, or collaborating with creatives, you can brief, resolve client challenges and bring people on the journey with you
- You’ll be comfortable talking to senior stakeholders, both internal and external. You can interrogate data to understand current best practices of content and platforms and what that might mean for our future. You have perspectives on the way the sport and content industry is evolving, and how we can best position ourselves to thrive in it.
What you'll be doing
- Creating bespoke and best-in-class content strategies that support our clients’ business objectives
- Supporting our client teams in executing those strategies
- Being a leader of content expertise across Two Circles capabilities (Marketing, Rights Management & Tech)
- Identifying new content opportunities, and expanding our knowledge and capability base
- Contributing to and leading new business opportunities
- Examining, interpreting and translating research and insights to ensure that we, and our clients, are at the forefront of content innovation and strategy
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
The ideal background and skills we are looking for include:
- Experience in developing and delivering content strategies for major rightsholders and/or brands
- Experience working alongside creative teams to develop and deliver content that ladders up to content strategies
- Proven record of engaging, impressing and convincing major stakeholders
- Experience in platform execution across owned and operated channels
- Comfortable presenting big picture ideas to both clients and internal stakeholders alike
- A proactive, self-starting attitude, thriving in environments where every day brings new challenges and opportunities
- A skilled multitasker who can deliver on multiple ongoing projects at once
- Knowledge about social channels, with knowledge of existing platform trends, and new and emerging platforms
- An interest in consumer behavior and cultural trends, using these to shape innovative strategies
- Experience working at a sports rightsholder, agency or publisher is not required, but a demonstrable understanding of the role that sport plays in people’s lives and a passion for sport is
