Job Description
TransPerfect is seeking a Desktop Publish Specialist to assess time and material requirements for DTP and formatting tasks, fix formatting in various document types (Word, InDesign, Illustrator), and edit graphics and charts. The role involves preparing files for translation using CAT tools, maximizing technology use, and providing technical support. Candidates need strong analytical skills, excellent English communication, proficiency in Graphic Design software (Adobe Suite, Quark), and a Bachelor's degree with customer service experience.
Good To Have:
- Some knowledge of web programming languages (HTML, XML, ASP, JSP)
- Knowledge of OCR tools
- Experience on DTP work
- Knowledge of video edition and subtitling
Must Have:
- Assess time/material requirements for completion of DTP and formatting tasks
- Fix formatting on translated Word, InDesign, Illustrator and similar formats
- Editing of graphics and charts
