Job Description

We are seeking a strategic and driven Director of Capital Markets to lead a global team, managing the company’s capital structure, banking relationships, cash forecasting, shareholder return strategies, and financial risk exposures. Key responsibilities include overseeing capital structure, managing banking relationships, monitoring interest rate and foreign currency risk, driving cash forecasting, and supporting capital markets transactions like debt issuance and share repurchases.
Must have:
  • Lead the Capital Markets team globally and partner with cross-functional finance teams.
  • Oversee capital structure strategy, manage banking group relationships, and monitor interest rate and foreign currency risk exposures.
  • Drive short- and long-term cash forecasting in partnership with finance and business units.
  • Support ad-hoc capital markets transactions including debt issuance, liability management, share repurchases, interest rate derivatives, revolving credit facility, and bank group analysis.
  • Manage the Commercial Paper program, ensuring timely reissuance and liquidity monitoring.
  • Support the company’s foreign currency hedging program.
  • 10+ years of experience in Treasury or Finance.
  • Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or related.
Good to have:
  • Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field.
  • Working knowledge of Oracle, Cognos TM1, or similar finance systems.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Bloomberg.
  • Strong interest in financial markets.
  • Self-starter with strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

General Summary:

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits:

$175,900.00 - $263,900.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).
