The Shipping Team builds and runs end-to-end shipping strategy and platforms across buyer and seller experiences—spanning cross‑border trade, delivery estimates, tracking, labels, routing, and rate management to power reliable, transparent delivery at scale. The team advances global shipping programs and capabilities that improve marketplace efficiency and customer trust across multiple regions. They partner closely with core experiences (Search, View Item, Cart, Checkout) to make delivery expectations clearer—exemplified by the rollout of Shipping Signals, which communicates speed and “Get it by” dates for buyers.The group operates globally with engineering and product teams in Seattle, London, and Toronto, supporting trusted buyer outcomes and streamlined seller logistics.Candidates joining this team will work on high-impact, customer-facing experiences and logistics platforms that reduce friction, improve delivery accuracy, and enable sellers to grow.The Director for UK Managed Shipping & Logistics will lead the transformation of our logistics operations in UK, driving central initiatives that redefine efficiency and global reach. This role calls for a visionary leader who can orchestrate innovative logistics solutions, ensuring our operations not only meet but exceed industry standards and customer expectations. This role also involves coordinating P & L responsibilities to achieve financial targets for shipping.
