As an eCommerce Leader, you will spearhead Philips' Global eCommerce practice within the Digital Center of Excellence for Health Systems.   • Build strategy for customer onboarding and online store utilization.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain for E2E fulfillment experience.
  • Engage Commercial Operations for E2E customer experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Digital Marketing, Marketing, or Business Administration.
  • 10+ years in eCommerce/Digital Marketing/Sales Operations.
  • Robust omni-channel and Digital/eCommerce experience.
  • Direct experience with eCommerce platforms (Hybris, Commercetools).
  • Experience managing an online store front.
  • Experience managing direct and indirect teams.
  • Ability to influence senior leadership and manage stakeholders.
  • Skilled in gathering insights from performance data.
  • Experience structuring pilot programs for growth.

  • MBA preferred
  • Healthcare technology marketing experience a plus

eCommerce Leader

You will lead our Global eCommerce practice for our Digital Center of Excellence supporting our entire Health Systems portfolio. You will be responsible for development and realization of a comprehensive eCommerce strategy and executing on a plan to drive online orders, revenue, and customer loyalty. Philips has an ambition to drastically scale our eCommerce business for B2B and we are looking for a seasoned leader to help us achieve our growth targets. The ideal candidate is intimately familiar with omni-channel digital marketing and has experience building eCommerce ecosystems from the ground-up with a track-record of achieving online sales targets while innovating to continuously improve the customer experience. The eCommerce Leader will oversee the end-to-end online purchase journey and work across marketing and sales functions including supply chain, customer services, and IT using CRM, eStore/Portals, Electronic Data Interfaces (EDI), and 3rd Party Platforms to drive digital sales. In close partnership with our Global Regions and Businesses, this role is responsible for leading a team to drive significant revenue and order contributions to Philips overall.

Your role:

  • Develop and realize a strategy and plan for delivering online sales for our Health Systems portfolio on a Global level. The eCommerce scope of owned channels includes Philips eStores, EDI (electronic data interchange), and electronic fax and email.
  • Manage a team inclusive of eCommerce strategy and capability ownership, Order Intake and revenue realization, eCommerce technology and platform expertise, and testing and optimization for continuous improvement
  • Partner closely with marketing leadership across our global businesses and regions to garner support and alignment and in some cases investment to drive needed action and initiatives for growth
  • Act as a change agent across functions including IT as we aim to continue our eCommerce transformation roadmap and journey forward
  • Utilize our digital activation team to develop and integrate digital campaign programs across the customer journey to support achievement of online sales activities and objectives
  • Build a comprehensive strategy for driving penetration (customer onboarding) and preference (utilization of online store and EDI)
  • Collaborate closely with Supply Chain leadership to ensure the E2E experience inclusive of fulfillment and product forecasts enable a desired customer experience on the online store
  • Engage Commercial Operations leadership to align a robust E2E customer experience inclusive of customer feedback and experience channels as well as the overall order desk experience

You're the right fit if:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Digital Marketing, Marketing, Business Administration or a related field. MBA preferred and 10+ years of experience in eCommerce/Digital Marketing/Marketing/Sales Operations or similar. Healthcare technology marketing experience a plus.
  • Robust omni-channel and Digital and eCommerce experience, developing and successfully executing initiatives across the end-to-end customer decision journey and delivering on online sales targets.
  • Direct experience with eCommerce platforms (e.g. Hybris, Commercetools, etc.). Experience managing an online store front. Amazon experience a plus.
  • Experience managing a direct team as well as well as indirectly managing across supporting functions.
  • Ability to engage marketing and sales senior leadership to influence and garner support and alignment and act as a key point of contact. As well as the ability to manage a complex and diverse set of stakeholders, across functions and geographies.
  • Understanding of how to gather insights from initiative performance data and develop recommendations to drive measurable improvement in results.
  • Experience drawing on market and audience insights to structure pilot programs to test and uncover new growth opportunities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High attention to detail, a passion for problem-solving, learning, and educating others, and a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves, can-do attitude.
