Job Summary

The Engineering Deputy General Manager will be responsible for the engineering management of development projects, ensuring progress, quality, cost, and safety. Key duties include reviewing construction plans, overseeing design and implementation, managing site safety, participating in technical reviews, and controlling project costs. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering, over 12 years of real estate experience, and strong leadership skills.

Must Have

  • Manage project engineering work, ensuring progress, quality, cost, and safety.
  • Review and implement construction progress plans.
  • Oversee construction organization design, supervision plans, and specialized construction schemes.
  • Ensure compliance with engineering management systems and quality checks.
  • Manage project engineering planning and execution.
  • Organize technical handovers, construction method sample acceptance, and final acceptance.
  • Manage construction site safety and civilized construction.
  • Participate in technical review of tenders, contract terms, supplier evaluation, and cost control.
  • Review procurement plans for owner-supplied materials/equipment, change orders, progress payments, and final accounts.
  • Organize project coordination meetings and resolve technical/cost issues.
  • Bachelor's degree or above in Architectural Engineering.
  • Over 12 years of real estate experience, with over 6 years in a similar engineering management role.
  • Experience managing at least two integrated projects over 100,000 square meters.
  • Familiarity with national construction project laws, regulations, design, construction, and acceptance technical specifications.
  • Strong communication, coordination, resource integration, results-orientation, delegation, and subordinate development skills.

Good to Have

  • Graduates from key universities preferred.
  • Experience with benchmark projects in first or second-tier cities preferred.

Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

1. According to the company's operation and management goals, be responsible for the engineering management of development projects, effectively ensuring the progress, quality, cost, and safe production of development projects, and achieving the project's predetermined goals.

2. Participate in the preparation of the project's early-stage development outline.

3. According to the project development plan, be responsible for reviewing the construction progress plan submitted by the construction unit, and effectively tracking, inspecting, and implementing it.

4. Be responsible for reviewing the construction organization design, supervision plan, and implementation details, reviewing various specialized construction schemes of the project's general and sub-contractors, and supervising their execution.

5. Be responsible for handling the construction permits for project companies.

6. According to the engineering management system formulated by the group, be responsible for regular inspection and analysis of engineering quality, and form case studies for typical problems.

7. Be responsible for organizing the preparation and implementation of project engineering planning.

8. Be responsible for technical handover and acceptance of construction method engineering samples, and organize the completion acceptance work.

9. Be responsible for engineering safety and civilized construction management, supervising construction units to implement safety and civilized construction management measures in accordance with contract requirements, to prevent major safety accidents.

10. Participate in the technical review of tenders and the setting of special contract clauses, participate in supplier unit inspection and evaluation, and participate in the review of contract planning, target costs, and capital plans.

11. Be responsible for reviewing the procurement plan for owner-supplied materials and equipment, reviewing change order initiation, progress payment review, and final settlement document review, effectively controlling and truly reflecting dynamic project costs.

12. Be responsible for organizing project coordination meetings, communicating and coordinating technical and cost issues during construction, coordinating relationships with relevant group centers, promptly handling various work arrangements, coordinating relationships with relevant functional departments, and promoting the normal progress of projects.

13. Be responsible for project engineering post-evaluation.

Job Requirements:

1. Education: Full-time Bachelor's degree or above, in Architectural Engineering, with preference for graduates from key universities.

2. Work Experience: Over 12 years of real estate-related experience, with over 6 years of engineering management experience in a similar position.

3. Project Experience: No less than 2 integrated project engineering management experiences over 100,000 square meters, with preference for benchmark projects in first or second-tier cities.

4. Familiar with national construction project laws and regulations, proficient in technical specifications for architectural engineering design, construction, and acceptance.

5. Communication and coordination, resource integration, results-oriented, delegation of responsibility, subordinate development.
