Enterprise Architect - APAC

As an Enterprise Architect at SoftwareOne and Crayon, you will lead large-scale transformation programs across ASEAN. This role involves solution strategy, technical architecture, and commercial design to help customers modernize, optimize, and achieve cost efficiency across their IT estates, including cloud, on-prem, data & AI, managed services, and digital transformation. You will advise clients, design robust solutions, support pre-sales, and collaborate with partners to deliver technically sound and financially viable architectures aligned with customer outcomes.

Must Have

• Act as primary architecture advisor for strategic enterprise accounts.
• Engage with CIO, CTO, Chief Data Officer, Enterprise Architecture, and business executives.
• Develop multi-year modernization and innovation roadmaps.
• Lead end-to-end architecture and solution design for multi-domain pursuits.
• Ensure compliance with industry and regional standards (MAS, PDPA, BNM).
• Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and cost-effective architectures.
• Partner with Sales, Practice Leads, and Delivery for large pursuits and RFP responses.
• Shape complex deals with high-level solution blueprints, estimations, and phasing strategies.
• Work with AWS, Microsoft, and key OEM partners to co-design and co-sell solutions.
• Establish governance and quality assurance across proposed solutions.
• 12-15+ years in enterprise or solution architecture, pre-sales, or technology consulting.
• Experience leading complex solution design across cloud, Data & AI, Applications, on-prem, and licensing.
• Strong expertise across Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) with proven experience designing and governing large-scale enterprise workloads.
• Strong commercial understanding.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Deep technical proficiency in cloud migration, data platforms, AI/ML, application modernization, security, identity, governance, compliance, enterprise networking, and hybrid-cloud designs.
• Strong executive communication and ability to influence CXO-level decision-makers.
• Ability to translate complex technology topics into clear business outcomes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a consulting mindset.

The role

As an Enterprise Architect, you will be a key member of a high-impact, cross-functional team focused on delivering large-scale transformation programs across ASEAN. This role combines solution strategy, technical architecture, and commercial design to help customers achieve modernization, optimization, and cost efficiency across their IT estates — spanning cloud, on-prem, data & AI , managed services, and digital transformation domains.

You will partner closely with business development, delivery, and global practice teams to architect solutions that are technically robust, financially sound, and aligned with customer outcomes.

Core Responsibilites :

• Client Advisory & Technical Leadership
• Act as the primary architecture advisor for a portfolio of high-value strategic enterprise accounts.
• Engage with CIO, CTO, Chief Data Officer, Enterprise Architecture, and business executives to influence technology direction.
• Develop multi-year modernisation and innovation roadmaps covering cloud, data, AI, apps, and security.
• Facilitate technical strategy sessions and modernization roadmap discussions.
• Provide technology thought leadership in customer meetings and partner events.
• Build long-term architecture credibility with key strategic customers.
• Solution Advisory & Architecture
• Lead end-to-end architecture and solution design for large, multi-domain pursuits specifically in cloud migrations, data platforms, AI/ML, app modernization, API/integration, DevOps, and digital transformation programs
• Develop reference architectures, transformation roadmaps, and commercial models covering cloud, licensing, and on-prem environments.
• Ensure compliance with industry and regional standards (MAS, PDPA, BNM).
• Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and cost-effective architectures.
• Present and defend architectural approaches to customer technical and executive stakeholders.
• Technical Pre-Sales & Proposal Support
• Partner with Sales, Practice Leads, and Delivery to support large pursuits, RFP responses, and customer workshops.
• Shape complex deals with high-level solution blueprints, estimations, and phasing strategies.
• Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities across cloud, data, AI, and applications.
• Produce High-Level Designs (HLDs), TCO analyses, solution proposals, and supporting collateral for RFPs and proactive opportunities.
• Conduct architecture workshops and design sessions with customer teams.
• Ensure the technical integrity and feasibility of all solutions throughout the pursuit lifecycle.
• Partner & Ecosystem Collaboration
• Work with AWS, Microsoft, and key OEM partners to co-design and co-sell joint solutions.
• Stay current on emerging partner technologies to ensure solutions leverage the latest innovations.
• Governance & Reusability
• Establish governance and quality assurance across proposed solutions.
• Create reusable solution assets, playbooks, and architecture templates for future pursuits.
• Collaborate with delivery teams for seamless handover and post-sale architecture validation.

What we need to see from you

• 12-15+ years in enterprise or solution architecture, pre-sales, or technology consulting roles.
• Experience leading complex solution design across cloud, Data & AI, Applications, on-prem, and licensing
• Strong expertise across Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) with proven experience designing and governing large-scale enterprise workloads
• Strong commercial understanding — able to balance technical and financial outcomes.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Deep technical proficiency in:
• Cloud migration & modernization (IaaS → PaaS → Serverless)
• Data platforms & AI/ML (data lakes, analytics, MLOps, GenAI, LLM use cases)
• Application modernization (microservices, containers, DevOps, APIs, integration)
• Security, identity, governance & compliance
• Enterprise networking and hybrid-cloud designs
• Business & Soft Skills
• Strong executive communication with ability to influence CXO-level decision-makers and enterprise architects
• Proven experience working with Sales, Account Directors, and Pursuit Teams on large strategic deals.
• Ability to translate complex technology topics into clear business outcomes and value propositions.
