Financial Controler

Thales is seeking a Financial Controller for its Meudon headquarters to join the Zenith project, a significant transformation involving a new ERP system covering 60% of the Group's revenue. The role focuses on comprehensive project cost management, including coordination with international entities, monitoring cost capitalization, and re-estimating costs to completion. The controller will also participate in managing value creation from the transformation plan and contribute to the design of the future ERP solution, collaborating with IS/IT and procurement teams to ensure financial impacts are tracked and optimized.

Must Have

• Manage project costs in coordination with French and international entities.
• Monitor cost capitalization, impacting WBS and supplier contracts.
• Pilot and re-estimate Zenith project costs to completion.
• Participate in value creation management for the transformation plan.

The Zenith project is a deep and structuring transformation project launched by the THALES Group. This project includes a significant part concerning the implementation of a new ERP, and must cover a set of entities and Businesses representing 60% of the Group's revenue.

Your main missions:

• Project cost management, in coordination with French and International entities, by Entities and by main Functions

• In coordination with the Standards teams and operational teams, monitoring of cost capitalization. This subject impacts the project's WBS, the ability to identify capitalizable costs, as well as actions in contracting with solution and service providers, in coordination with IS/IT and the purchasing function

• Management and re-estimation of Zenith project costs to completion and their flow over time, in coordination with all concerned entities and Functions (specifically the IS/IT function), the core team (PMO in particular), but also the Design Authority to be able to monitor the financial impacts related to decisions made on the Solution design

• Participate in the management of Value creation, in coordination with all concerned Entities and Functions, that the transformation plan and the evolution of tools through the new ERP must generate. Value models must be created and will evolve according to decisions concerning the design or scope of the Zenith Project

• Depending on your interest in the subject, as well as your experience and area of expertise, be involved in the design of the future solution
