Framer Web Designer

At Rive we're building a new category of design tool that transforms how products and games are built. With our real-time vector graphics engine, we make it possible for designers to build functional graphics without creative limits, while making it easy for devs to implement.

Since launching our public beta in 2021 we’ve seen tremendous organic growth. We're working with legendary game studios, massive brands, apps with millions of users, car companies, and we even have Rive pixels in space. 

We’re hiring a web designer with demonstrated expertise in Framer to evolve our website and add new interactive content on an ongoing basis. Reporting to the VP of Growth, you’ll work closely with our CEO, Growth, Sales, and Creative teams to create visually stunning and user-friendly interfaces that reflect and enhance our brand and products.

You will play an important role in taking our web presence and company to the next level. This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong designer with a unique blend of technical proficiency and artistic talent to join a high-growth, early-stage start-up focused in the design space.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Update the aesthetic, layout, feel, functionality, and features of our website as we grow into new markets in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
• Translate high-level requirements into intuitive and functional designs.
• Create and integrate Rive animations into the website and other marketing materials. 
• Execute all visual design stages, from concept to final implementation.
• Maintain creative process, workflow and relationships between teams. Work and communicate efficiently and effectively with internal and external stakeholders to fulfill design concepts and deliverables on time.
• Follow and maintain brand identity standards and process guides while crafting a compelling brand experience that speaks to designers and developers.
• Optimize creative content for the web, ensuring a meaningful and branded user experience, while continually optimizing based on data and insights.
• Conduct regular testing of web pages to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to web design and functionality.
• Stay up to date on the latest industry trends and advancements in web design and usability.
• Develop digital assets for marketing campaigns (i.e. emails, social, landing pages) as needed.

What You Will bring

• 7+ years of experience designing inspiring websites. A strong design, UI, UX background.
• A current portfolio that highlights your skills and reflects a clean layout, refined minimalist design with a good sense of typography (bonus points for FUI examples).
• Proven understanding of graphic and motion design fundamentals (experience using Rive is strongly preferred).
• Demonstrated ability to take a project from concept to launch, managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to work independently while handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and communication skills.
• Passion for keeping up with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Bonus Points for:

• SEO optimization experience
• Strong understanding of content management systems.

Location: Remote, with the ability to work core hours centered around Pacific time U.S.

Compensation and benefits:

We offer comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage as well as stock options. We’re offering a salary range of $130k to $160k in addition to equity. Compensation may depend on level of experience, education and geographical location.
