Valeo is seeking a VIE Logistic/Supply Chain professional for a 24-month assignment in Kanda, Japan. This role involves managing supply chain activities for new products, working on warehouse relocation projects, and developing supply chain concepts. The successful candidate will implement logistics FMEA, manage information systems, establish transportation protocols, and monitor project milestones. This position is ideal for a Master's graduate with experience in supply chain, logistics, or engineering, possessing fluent English and an international mindset.

Must Have

• Manage supply chain activities to support new products
• Work on WHS relocation projects
• Develop supply chain concepts, prepare quotes, and define supply chain processes
• Implement logistics FMEA
• Manage information systems (experience with ERP systems is preferred)
• Establish protocols for transportation logistics service providers
• Set up equipment and internal flows for supply chain processes
• Manage supply chain reference data and information systems
• Monitor and control key project milestones (pre-series deliveries, FDPR, ramp-up, etc.)
• Use a supply chain checklist template to manage daily activities and review weekly progress
• Master degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or Engineering
• Experience in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or Engineering
• Fluent level of English
• Good communication skills
• International mindset and open-minded to new cultures and new ways of working and thinking
• Humble, listening, positive attitude oriented, professional, and have the sense of diplomacy

Your challenges?

Let’s talk about you…

• You are graduated from a Master degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or Engineering
• You already have experience in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or Engineering (ideally in the automotive field)
• You have a fluent level of English (and ideally you have a good level in Japanese)
• You have good communication skills, have an international mindset and are open-minded to new cultures and new ways of working and thinking
• You are humble, listening, positive attitude oriented, professional, and have the sense of diplomacy
