Job Description

The Global HR Operations Specialist will serve as a key member of the People team, responsible for the day-to-day administration and improvement of core HR processes including payroll, benefits, 401(k), immigration, HRIS/ADP systems, and employee lifecycle management. This role combines operational execution and excellence with systems expertise and project management to optimize HR processes for scalability and compliance in a fast-growing global organization, focusing on building efficient, compliant, and employee-friendly processes.

Must Have:
  • Manage and process semi-monthly and/or bi-weekly payrolls in ADP Workforce Now (or ADP GlobalView) for multiple locations.
  • Serve as the ADP system administrator and implementation partner, leading configuration, workflow optimization, and integrations.
  • Administer health, welfare, and retirement programs (medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k)).
  • Coordinate global and U.S. immigration processes, including visa sponsorships, renewals, and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and international employment laws (EEO, FLSA, ACA, GDPR, etc.).
  • Support onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle transactions.
  • Develop and document HR processes, policies, and SOPs.
  • 5+ years of directly applicable HR operations experience in a mid- to large-sized global organization.
  • Strong working knowledge of ADP Workforce Now.
  • Proven experience with payroll and benefits administration (U.S. focus; global exposure required).
  • Familiarity with 401(k) administration and compliance.
  • Experience supporting immigration case management (H-1B, L-1, TN, etc.).
  • High attention to detail, strong analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and HR reporting tools.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with HR system implementation or optimization projects.

The Global HR Operations Specialist will serve as a key member of the People team, responsible for the day-to-day administration and improvement of core HR processes including payroll, benefits, 401(k), immigration, HRIS/ADP systems, and employee lifecycle management. This role combines operational execution and excellence with systems expertise and project management to optimize HR processes for scalability and compliance in a fast-growing global organization.

This is a high-impact, hands-on role for someone who loves building efficient, compliant, and employee-friendly processes across payroll, benefits, 401(k), immigration, and HR systems.

We'll Trust you to:

  • Payroll & HRIS (ADP Focus):
  • Manage and process semi-monthly and/or bi-weekly payrolls in ADP Workforce Now (or ADP GlobalView) for multiple locations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery. Coordinate with internal finance team as required.
  • Serve as the ADP system administrator and implementation partner, leading configuration, workflow optimization, and integrations with other HR and finance tools.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve payroll and system issues; act as liaison with ADP support and internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain HR data integrity, reporting, and analytics.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports that give leaders visibility into workforce trends and HR metrics
  • Benefits & 401(k) Administration:
  • Administer health, welfare, and retirement programs (medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k)
  • Partner with brokers and vendors to support open enrollment, renewals, and ongoing employee inquiries and compliance filings.
  • Reconcile benefit invoices and ensure accurate employee deductions in payroll.
  • Support 401(k) plan compliance, testing, and audits.
  • Partner with brokers and Finance to support plan design analysis, benchmarking, and potential transition to a self-funded benefits structure.
  • Manage relationships with TPAs, brokers, and carriers as benefits programs evolve
  • Immigration & Compliance:
  • Coordinate global and U.S. immigration processes, including visa sponsorships, renewals, and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and international employment laws (EEO, FLSA, ACA, GDPR, etc.).
  • Maintain accurate records for audits and compliance reporting.
  • HR Operations & Projects:
  • Support onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle transactions.
  • Develop and document HR processes, policies, and SOPs.
  • Drive HR operations projects such as system implementations, data audits, or process automation.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, TA and IT to ensure HR data accuracy and compliance.

What You Bring:

  • 5+ years of directly applicable HR operations experience in a mid- to large-sized global organization.
  • Strong working knowledge of ADP Workforce Now (implementation, reporting, workflows, integrations).
  • Proven experience with payroll and benefits administration (U.S. focus; global exposure required – APAC exposure preferred).
  • Familiarity with 401(k) administration and compliance.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Beghou, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $110,000 to $130,000.
