The Strategic SAE at Intel is responsible for providing technical expertise to commercial and consumer segment sales account managers. This role drives future roadmap alignment, new design win opportunities, and co-engineering efforts for client product generations (N+1 to N+4). Key responsibilities include advanced co-innovation with HPI, defining unique differentiation, securing Intel preference, developing product demonstrations, assisting in product design, and ensuring customer requirements are met. The SAE also resolves customer issues and provides feedback to product teams, ensuring business continuity and high customer satisfaction.

Must Have

  • B.S. in Computer/Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, MBA or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in technology sales, technical sales, and prior experience with large OEM
  • 5+ years of experience with client technologies
  • 2+ years of experience with PC ecosystem from design to sell-through

Good to Have

  • Ability to present strategic roadmap/product/technology/technology vision topics in front of customers, including senior and technical audiences
  • Strong business acumen, interpersonal skills, and attention to detail
  • Ability to drive deep technical executive discussions
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
  • Strong ability to listen and understand customer needs and priorities
  • Ability to tackle complex problems and propose solutions
  • Experience working with HP is a plus

Job Description:

The Strategic SAE is responsible for but are not limited to:

  • Provides technical expertise to commercial and consumer segment notebook and desktop sales account managers to drive future roadmap alignment, new design win opportunities and provides co engineering to drive product to production that results in billed revenue (sales in and/or sales through).
  • The focus will primarily be on N+1 up to N+3, N+4 client product generations, driving long term alignment and HP/Intel CTO office interactions.
  • Driving advanced co-engineering and co-innovation with HPI, defining unique differentiation, and securing consequently Intel preference within the customer's portfolio.
  • Exhibits deep knowledge of the product portfolio to drive sales for established Intel businesses and plant the seeds for growth in emerging businesses. Cultivates the relationship between Intel and customer teams to identify and develop new opportunities.
  • Develops product demonstrations for customers to gauge product capabilities, assists in product design and review during onsite visits, and ensures customer requirements are met.
  • Establishes relationship with customer teams to facilitate rapid resolution of customer issues and promote the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Analyzes data to answer questions, reproduce errors, and resolve or escalate customer issues.
  • Provides timely feedback to the manufacturing and product teams on product issues and future requirements and ensures that Intel is adept to responding and/or anticipating changes needed for business continuity.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: 210,030.00 USD - 296,510.00 USD

Work Model for this Role

This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need.
