INNOVATION INTERN (M/F)

Valeo, a key international player in future mobility, offers an internship in Annemasse (Haute Savoie, 74), near Geneva. This R&D and production site designs and industrializes interfaces with vehicle drivers and occupants (screens, cameras). You will work within the site's innovation team on a 6-month internship starting February 2026, attached to the 'Demonstrator' project manager, working directly in a demo-car.

Must Have

• Improve existing in-vehicle functionalities, primarily image processing.
• Integrate and test new sensors.
• Develop communication/interface means between PCs and sensors (IOT / CAN-LIN / TCP-IP network).
• Participate in HMI (Human-Machine Interface) integration.
• Work remotely, as the car is not always available in Annemasse.
• Collaborate with international teams (Egypt, Germany, USA, China).
• Initial training: embedded systems, electronics, or image processing engineer.
• Mandatory English proficiency.
• Be a hands-on person with good interpersonal skills, structured, rigorous, autonomous, and curious.

We offer an internship at the Annemasse site in Haute Savoie (74), near Geneva. This R&D and production center designs and industrializes interfaces with vehicle drivers and occupants (screens, cameras, etc.).

You will work within the innovation team of the Annemasse site, as part of a 6-month internship starting in February 2026.

Our department consists of several disciplines such as ergonomics, human factors, and electrical, electronic, and mechanical engineering. You will report to the "Demonstrator" project manager to work directly in a demo-car.

Your challenges?

In this demo-car, you will:

• Improve existing functionalities in the vehicle, mainly image processing.
• Integrate and test new sensors.
• Develop communication/interface means between PCs and these sensors (IOT / CAN-LIN / TCP-IP network).
• Participate in HMI (Human-Machine Interface) integration.
• Work remotely, as the car is not always available in Annemasse.
• Work with our teams worldwide (Egypt, Germany, USA, China).

Travel is possible.

Let's talk about you...

• Initial training: embedded systems, electronics, or image processing engineer
• Languages: English mandatory (international environment)
• Passion for automotive is a plus
