Job Summary

This internship at Valeo involves design activities for Comfort and Driving Assistance Product lines, specifically Vision Systems. The intern will be responsible for studying inputs, performing quality checks, and designing systems, assemblies, and components. Key tasks include preparing solid models, detailed drawings, bills of material, and SPEOS Optical Models and Reports. Must Have

  • Perform design activities for Comfort and Driving Assistance Product lines, specifically Vision Systems.
  • Study inputs and review Statement of Understanding and Estimation for optical simulation jobs.
  • Perform quality checks and approve jobs as needed.
  • Perform system, assembly, and component design and calculation.
  • Prepare solid models, detailed drawings, bill of material, and specifications/SPEOS Optical Models and Reports.
  • Manage engineering changes for products.
  • Work with other Valeo divisions for product design/development.

Mission

  • Responsible for Design activities concerning Comfort and Driving Assistance Product lines specifically Vision Systems
  • Interaction with other divisions or units worldwide and establish a strong and intimate customer relationship
  • Strong interpersonal competence and acting good team player
  • Guarantee the respect of best practice and standards, establish and capitalize new standards when applicable

Responsibilities

  • Study Inputs, review Statement of Understanding and Estimation for job related to Optical simulation
  • Perform Quality Checks and approve jobs as and when needed.
  • Perform system, assembly, component design and calculation
  • Prepare solid models, detailed drawings, bill of material and specifications / SPEOS Optical Models and Reports
  • Manage engineering changes for the products
  • Work together with other Valeo divisions in Europe & Asia for Product Design / Development
