Philips Ambulatory Monitoring and Diagnostics is offering a 6-month (or longer) internship within the Commercial Services & Solutions Delivery team. This role provides hands-on experience in Electrocardiography (ECG/Cardiology) and broad exposure to global ECG service business operations. The intern will take ownership of Installed Base Management & Service Sales, identifying opportunities within the Philips ECG installed base and supporting renewals and upgrades. Additionally, the intern will assist in Performance Management, tracking KPIs, preparing business insights, and supporting improvement initiatives across the service organization.

Must Have

  • Studying towards a Bachelor or Master in Business Management, International Business, Marketing or related study
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Fluent English

Good to Have

  • A passion for health technology, business operations, or commercial strategy

Job Description

Your role:

At Philips Ambulatory Monitoring and Diagnostics, we work every day to help clinicians understand and act on what a patient’s heartbeat is telling them. We are offering a 6-month (or longer) internship within the Commercial Services & Solutions Delivery team, where you’ll gain hands-on experience in the latest developments in Electrocardiography (ECG/Cardiology). It’s a great opportunity to build your skills and contribute to solutions that support hospitals around the world.

In the Ambulatory Monitoring & Diagnostics Business Unit, you’ll work with our latest product, software and service innovations while collaborating with customers, channel partners and Philips teams across multiple international regions.

This role offers hands-on experience and broad exposure to how our global ECG service business operates. You will report to the Commercial S&SD Leader for the AM&D International Region.

You will take ownership of two core areas:

Installed Base Management & Service Sales

You will help identify opportunities within the Philips ECG installed base and support activities that contribute to renewals and upgrades.

Performance Management

You will assist in tracking key performance indicators, preparing business insights and supporting ongoing improvement initiatives across the service organization.

  • Strong analytical thinking paired with a proactive, “let’s solve it” mindset;
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills is a must;
  • Curiosity, accountability, and a willingness to learn fast;
  • Ability to thrive in a high-energy, highly innovative environment;
  • Fluent English;

Next to that, we are offering a decent internship package:

  • Monthly full-time allowance between €500 - €700 gross, depending on educational level and if you would need to relocate to The Netherlands. If you perform a part-time internship you will receive the allowance pro-rata.
  • Housing compensation, in case of relocating to the vicinity of the office, €300,- net if location is in the vicinity of Amsterdam, €255,- net for all other Philips locations. You need to provide a rental contract of the landlord, and your normal home-work travel distance need to be more than 50 km or travel time (one way trip) need to be more than 1.5 hours.
  • Travel compensation, if you are not eligible for a free public transport card; you will receive max. €192,- net.
  • Paid holidays per internship term.
  • The opportunity to buy Philips equipment at our Philips shop.
