Your daily life

At the heart of Saint Quentin en Yvelines, the Elancourt site is one of Thales' most important technological centers of excellence. The diversity and technicality of the systems and equipment mobilize expertise in more than 80 professions in defense, high-tech security, and digital services solutions.

This internship represents a dual challenge: it allows for the consolidation of the existing data strategy while offering you a complete and professionalizing experience around supply chain and data.

Your role will be to identify and map the data sources used in S&OP and VEX. Based on available data mappings, you will be required to:

• Analyze discrepancies and inconsistencies (forecasts, stocks, supplies, production)
• Gather needs from key users (APRU, teams, etc.)
• Implement a data repository that fits within the established structure
• Define the “Golden Sources” => repositories for each key indicator
• Design a target data model (Power BI / SQL / Data Lake depending on the environment)
• Document calculation rules and governance principles
• Deployment and valorization
• Develop a consolidated Power BI dashboard for S&OP / VEX management
• Set up monitoring of data quality indicators
• Propose recommendations for the evolution of the data architecture (network/system)

Your profile

Master 2 student, specialized in supply chain and data?

Do you have a solid foundation in supply chain and a strong interest in data and analysis tools?

Are you proficient in Power BI, Excel, and SQL?

Rigorous and curious, are you recognized for your analytical mind and your ability to work autonomously?

• End-to-end approach to a data strategy in supply chain (from source to decision)
• Development of skills in data modeling, governance, and BI
• In-depth understanding of complex S&OP and VEX processes
• Cross-functional management work with supply, finance, and all team lines

All our internships are contractual and subject to remuneration, the amount of which is determined according to your level of study.
