Internship in the Maintenance Department

Valeo in Czechowice-Dziedzice produces drive systems supporting fuel consumption reduction and lower exhaust emissions. This internship involves managing preventive maintenance (TPM), creating and modifying technical drawings (CAD), supporting new process implementations, optimizing processes using LEAN methodologies (5S, SMED, Kaizen), coordinating purchases for machine parts and services, and archiving technical data. The role requires a technical student/graduate with knowledge of technical drawing and communicative English.

Must Have

• Managing Preventive Maintenance (TPM): Active creation, supervision, scheduling, and archiving of preventive maintenance plans.
• Documentation and Visualization: Independent creation, modification of technical drawings (CAD) for spare parts and updating machine documentation.
• Technical Support for Implementations: Participation in all phases of launching new processes, machines, and lines (from installation to production tests).
• Process Optimization (LEAN): Participation in continuous improvement projects, including 5S, SMED, and Kaizen workshops, focused on reducing failures and changeover times.
• Purchasing Coordination: Issuing and handling orders for parts, tools, and service for machines.
• Archiving and Control: Systematic management and archiving of technical data regarding inspections, repairs, and modifications of equipment.
• Technical education (student/graduate): Preferred fields: Machine Construction, Mechanics, Automation, Robotics or related.
• Knowledge of Technical Drawing: Ability to freely read, and preferably create, technical drawings.
• Communicative knowledge of English.

Good to Have

• CAD Tools: Knowledge of AutoCAD or other CAD environment will be a strong asset.

Main tasks awaiting you:

• Preventive Maintenance Management (TPM): Active creation, supervision, scheduling, and archiving of preventive maintenance plans.
• Documentation and Visualization: Independent creation, modification of technical drawings (CAD) for spare parts, and updating machine documentation.
