Your daily life

The Gennevilliers Campus is the heart of design, development, and support activities for major defense systems: radio communications, resilient networks and infrastructure systems, satellite communications, collaborative combat, and cybersecurity. Located north of Paris, it is quickly accessible by public transport.

The Risk Studies and Control (EMR) department supports engineering teams in the analysis of Functional Safety and reliability (RAMT) of complex systems.

With the rise of Cybersecurity and the increasing interconnection of systems (aeronautical, terrestrial, naval, etc.), the challenges related to the synergy between Safety and Cyber are becoming major.

The EMR department is thus working to evolve methods and processes to integrate Cyber constraints into Functional Safety activities, directly contributing to the security and certification of critical systems.

As part of this internship, you will be required to:

  • Familiarize yourself with the results of the cross-functional study already carried out on the synergy between Functional Safety and Cybersecurity.
  • Propose a methodology for integrating Cyber aspects into FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis) and FTA (Fault Tree Analysis) analysis methods, as well as into the treatment of residual risks.
  • Develop a review checklist facilitating the integration of constraints from both disciplines within the engineering process.

Your profile

Are you currently in your final year of engineering school or equivalent training and looking for a 6-month end-of-studies internship?

Do you have knowledge in Functional Safety (RAMT)?

Do you possess notions in IT Cybersecurity and Governance (CSIG)?
