Job Description
Your daily life
Located 20 minutes from the Paris-Saclay technological hub, the site is one of the largest centers of excellence for surface radars. We contribute to developing, designing, integrating, and testing aerial surveillance radars dedicated to target detection and identification.
You will join a Development team for a new radar with very ambitious technical and calendar objectives. One of the development streams focuses on providing 2 'physical' radars capable of being physically controlled up to emission and reporting their status via radar supervision.
This lot has a strong connotation of HW development up to qualification in the environment with the establishment of the supply chain for Production, to which is added a much more software-oriented lot concerning the development of Supervision.
You will manage the IVVQ activities for this lot, defining the test strategy across the entire scope and ensuring its execution, encompassing the subcontracted part with our industrial partners, the Hardware and Software Integration & Verification activities on the Limours site, and the Validation activities on various sites of interest. You will work in co-engineering with the IVVQ Manager in charge of the global Project, the Project System Engineering teams, Hardware and Software Development, as well as the Production and Support teams. Some travel is to be expected!
As such, your initial missions will be:
- Setting up an innovative IVVQ strategy by applying the standards of the IVVQ discipline: integration tree, validation based on user concepts and modeling, efficiency of the entire ascent through the test cone, automation…;
- Definition of test means and associated test tools for the strategy;
- Setting up the planning for the entire IVVQ phase & structuring platform needs;
- Participation in the management activities of our subcontractors for the IVVQ part;
- Within the framework of the defined strategy, you will ensure the team's ramp-up and its management.
Your profile
With a higher education, you have knowledge in complex systems based on signal processing, electrotechnics, computer science or RF, and you have significant experience in system engineering or test management positions.
You have an analytical/synthesis mind, rigor, innovation and adaptation skills to technically complex situations, and a sense of commitment and results.
You are dynamic, methodical, autonomous and have a strong taste for team leadership.
You have the ability to work in a team under tight deadlines.
You master English (read, written, spoken).
