Job Summary

PwC France & Maghreb is seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to lead commercial development for two major clients in the insurance sector. This role involves driving the business development strategy for strategic accounts, implementing innovative commercial approaches, and strengthening client relationships both domestically and internationally. The successful candidate will work closely with Lead Client Partners and account teams to ensure sustainable growth and targeted development across all firm activities, with a particular focus on Advisory (Consulting).

Must Have

  • Define and manage the commercial strategy for client accounts.
  • Orchestrate strategic meetings and be a key player in discussions.
  • Act as a privileged interlocutor for Procurement functions (manage referencing, respond to tenders, conduct business reviews, implement framework contracts, client feedback).
  • Contribute to the development of high-value service offerings.
  • Ensure follow-up of client interactions across all PwC businesses, especially Advisory.
  • Identify decision-makers and detect new business opportunities.
  • Animate and federate teams, collaborating with Associates and account teams internationally.
  • Propose innovative and adapted solutions for complex client challenges.
  • Contribute to targeted marketing actions (publications, sectoral events).
  • Promote PwC solutions in medium to long sales cycles.
  • Manage commercial activity using CRM tools (Salesforce).

Good to Have

  • Experience in consulting or IT sector (Big 4, SII...)
  • In-depth knowledge of the insurance sector

Join the Commercial Office Department of PwC France & Maghreb as a Key Account Manager!

As part of PwC France's strategic ambition to strengthen and develop its activity in the insurance sector, we are recruiting an experienced Key Account Manager to drive commercial development with two major clients across all the firm's activities.

Your mission: You will be the driving force behind the business development strategy for these strategic accounts. In close collaboration with the Lead Client Partners (LCP) and account teams, you will support the implementation of innovative commercial approaches and the strengthening of relationships with our clients, both in France and internationally.

What you can expect from us:

  • Define and manage the commercial strategy: Develop and update client account plans in coordination with the Global Client Partner and the account team, to ensure sustainable and targeted growth.
  • Orchestrate strategic meetings: Organize and lead meetings planned in the client action plan, being a key player in discussions and decisions.
  • Privileged interlocutor for Procurement functions: Manage referencing, respond to tenders, conduct business reviews, implement framework contracts, and conduct client feedback actions to strengthen client relationships and satisfaction.
  • Contribute to the development of service offerings: Actively participate in the creation of high-value proposals, in France and internationally, to address clients' specific challenges.
  • Ensure follow-up of client interactions: Ensure the quality and consistency of exchanges across all PwC businesses, with a particular focus on Advisory (Consulting) activities.
  • Identify decision-makers and detect opportunities: Map key contacts within accounts and anticipate needs to generate new business opportunities.
  • Animate and federate teams: Collaborate with Associates and the account team within an international scope, promoting the sharing of best practices and collective intelligence within the PwC network and the Sales & Account Managers community.
  • Be a source of proposals: Provide innovative and adapted solutions to address complex client challenges in a competitive environment.
  • Contribute to targeted marketing actions: Participate in the design and implementation of campaigns (publications, sectoral events) to promote the firm's expertise to strategic clients.
  • Promote the firm's offerings: Act as an ambassador for PwC solutions in a context of medium or long sales cycles, ensuring the firm's visibility and competitiveness.
  • Manage commercial activity: Use CRM tools (Salesforce) to monitor, analyze, and optimize commercial performance and account management.

What we can expect from you:

  • Higher education: You have a Bac+5 degree (business school or equivalent).
  • Confirmed experience: You have a minimum of 8 years of experience in opportunity detection and strategic client account development, ideally in the consulting or IT sector (Big 4, SII...) or with a major international player in the insurance sector. In-depth knowledge of this sector is a major asset.
  • Relational leadership: Ability to interact with high-level contacts and build lasting trust relationships.
  • Mastery of performance tools and indicators: Comfortable with the analysis and use of commercial monitoring tools (CRM, Salesforce), you know how to rigorously and efficiently manage and lead activity monitoring meetings.
  • Business development expertise: Natural authority, initiative, and a sense of rigor to lead, monitor, and finalize commercial development action plans, cross-functionally and in complex environments.
  • International dimension: Proficiency in English and proven experience within international matrix organizations.
