Informa TechTarget is seeking an Account Executive for Vertical Markets to join NetLine, the world's largest B2B content syndication and lead generation platform. This full-time role, based in Newton, MA, involves identifying, engaging, and closing new customers in non-enterprise IT industries like financial services and healthcare. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of B2B sales experience, a hunter mentality, and strong communication skills to drive pipeline growth and position NetLine's managed-service offering.

Must Have

  • Prospect, engage, and close new business across assigned vertical markets.
  • Build relationships with senior marketing, demand generation, and media decision-makers.
  • Position NetLine’s managed-service offering as a scalable, quality-driven alternative.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing and SDR teams to drive top-of-funnel activity.
  • Maintain disciplined pipeline management, accurate forecasting, and CRM hygiene.
  • 1-3 years’ experience in B2B sales, preferably in digital media, SaaS, or demand generation.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota through outbound prospecting and closing new customers.
  • Strong communication, storytelling, and relationship-building skills.

About NetLine

NetLine, part of Informa TechTarget, is the world’s largest B2B content syndication and lead generation platform connecting brands to real, verified professionals across 15,000+ premium publisher sites, including Forbes, Bloomberg, HBR, WSJ, and Fortune.

We’re redefining how marketers generate pipeline through content - delivering quality, scale, and efficiency without the reliance on third-party data aggregators or offshore fulfillment. NetLine is expanding our sales organization to capture new opportunities within high-growth verticals outside of enterprise IT.

As an Account Executive – Vertical Markets, you’ll own a book of business focused on non-enterprise IT industries such as financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, education, and professional services. You’ll be responsible for identifying, engaging, and closing new customers who rely on content marketing and thought leadership to reach B2B buyers.

This role is ideal for a high-energy, ambitious seller who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is motivated by building something new, and brings a hunter mentality to every day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect, engage, and close new business across assigned vertical markets.
  • Build relationships with senior marketing, demand generation, and media decision-makers at both brands and agencies.
  • Position NetLine’s managed-service offering as the scalable, quality-driven alternative to third-party lead vendors.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing and SDR teams to drive top-of-funnel activity and pipeline creation.
  • Maintain disciplined pipeline management, accurate forecasting, and CRM hygiene.
  • Represent NetLine’s values — grit, effort, enthusiasm, and professionalism — in every interaction.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

  • 1–3 years’ experience in B2B sales, preferably in digital media, SaaS, or demand generation.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota through outbound prospecting and closing new customers.
  • A hunter mindset — motivated, curious, and relentless in pursuit of new business.
  • Strong communication, storytelling, and relationship-building skills.
  • Coachable, competitive, and eager to grow within a fast-scaling global sales organization.
  • Understanding of B2B marketing and lead generation a plus, but not required — we’ll train the right mindset.
