Lead Project Manager

Room 8 Studio is seeking a Lead Project Manager to inspire and lead a team, ensuring high standards of project management and professional growth. Must Have

• 3+ years of experience in the GameDev industry as a Project Manager or Producer
• Knowledge of time-tracking and CRM systems, delivery tools (Jira, Asana, Redmine, etc.)
• Advanced skills in formulas, reporting, and data analysis (Google Sheets/Excel)
• Advanced English proficiency (speaking and writing)
• Project Management Expertise (WBS creation, planning, financial management)
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to identify and manage risks effectively
• Understanding of art pipelines and experience in estimation
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Result-oriented mindset and readiness for long-term cooperation

Good to Have

• Experience managing a team of managers or producers
• Basic knowledge of software such as Photoshop, 3ds Max, Maya, After Effects, etc.
• Higher education (a degree in management or business is a plus)

Superpowers you have are

• 3+ years of Experience: Proven experience in the GameDev industry as a Project Manager or Producer;

As a part of Room 8 studio, you will

• Perform as a Direct Manager to Project managers and Associate Project manager;
• Control the Project managers team capacity based on current workloads and revenue managed by each Project manager;
• Initiate the hiring of Project managers in case of capacity lack;
• Participate in the Recruitment Process and handle technical interviews with candidates for the Project manager position;
• Educate and onboard new Project managers and initiate organization of educational activities for Project managers;
• Manage the allocated team budget within the mathematical model of the ASL and set targets.
• Overview and support projects managed by the Project manager’s team, collaborating with Program Managers and Key Account Managers;
• Assign and reassign projects according to the Project manager’s capacity and skills;
• Provide help on estimation requests and review estimations prepared by Project managers;
• Collaborate on pitch preparation with the Engagement team;
• Manage test projects and transition them to Project managers upon successful completion;
