Rolls-Royce is seeking a Logistics Controller for its Materials Management Centre in Derby, UK. This role involves overseeing all warehouse movements, ensuring adherence to processes, and investigating stock discrepancies. The Logistics Controller will be a key player in maintaining efficient logistics operations, managing process documentation, monitoring warehouse activities, and acting as a subject matter expert for kitting-related tasks. The position requires a focus on continuous improvement and compliance through standardized processes.
Must Have:
  • Carry out investigations on stock losses and gains, seek Finance approval.
  • Manage process documentation for inbound condition of supply and parts kitting.
  • Monitor warehouse activities: unconfirmed transfer orders, open transfer requirements, posting change notices, critical deliveries, negative stocks, interim storage stock, movement around critical stocks for production supply.
  • Handle GRIP (Goods Receipt Problems).
  • Be a point of contact and SME for kitting related activities.
  • Ensure effective completion of new and continuous improvement activities (Change Management).
  • Improve process performance for compliance through standardised processes using IT.
  • Excellent IT skills.
  • Able to work collaboratively within logistics and supply chain.
  • Good Knowledge of SAP.
  • Knowledge of WHS.
  • Experience of change management methods.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Controller to join the Materials Management Centre.

The Logistics Controller will work within Logistics on control of all warehouse movements in and out of the facilities. Logistic controllers play a key role in ensuring all warehouse processes are followed correctly.

What you will be doing:
