Job Description

This role is responsible for developing and executing the company's commercial plan within the assigned zone (private and official schools) for preschool, primary, and secondary levels. It involves attending to and following up with existing user schools and prospects, as well as achieving sales objectives. Key responsibilities include client visits, sales opportunity analysis, applying the company's sales model, daily/weekly planning in NEXUS, managing samples, expense reporting, and analyzing growth potential.
Must Have:
  • Develop and execute commercial plan for assigned school levels (preschool, primary, secondary).
  • Attend to and follow up with existing user schools and prospects.
  • Achieve sales objectives set by the company.
  • Perform and execute client visit plans for the assigned zone.
  • Analyze sales opportunities in each institution and develop strategies.
  • Know and apply the company's sales model, interviewing decision-makers.
  • Perform daily and weekly planning in the NEXUS tool.
  • Verify and update information in NEXUS and registration sheets daily.
  • Capture adoptions (competitor and company) in NEXUS.
  • Conduct sample inventory and report results to supervision and sales management.
  • Administer fixed fund and submit expense reports on designated days.
  • Analyze zone growth potential (horizontal/vertical) and project sales.
  • Identify key schools for personalized strategic plans.
  • Analyze company vs. competitor results (qualitative/quantitative).
  • Present seasonal results by business line when required.
  • Provide attention to booksellers and distributors, including presentations and training.
  • High school, technical degree completed, or unfinished bachelor's degree.
  • B1-B2 level spoken English.
  • At least 2 years of experience in field sales and face-to-face sales.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Proficiency in Office Suite.
  • Strong planning and time management skills.
  • Strategic thinking ability.
  • Process management skills.
  • Ability for constant evaluation of results.

Position Objective

Responsible for developing and fulfilling the company's commercial plan within their assigned zone (private schools and official schools) for preschool, primary, and secondary levels, providing attention and follow-up to user schools, as well as prospects, in addition to meeting the sales objectives set by the company.

Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Perform and execute the client visit plan (schools) corresponding to the assigned zone, analyze sales opportunities in each institution, and develop a strategy to cover those opportunities.
  • Responsible for knowing the company's objectives and commercial plan and fulfilling each of its phases (updating, prospecting, sampling, and closing) in the assigned zone.
  • Know and apply the company's Sales Model and apply it in work with each institution, managing to interview decision-makers in their market.
  • Perform daily and weekly planning in the NEXUS tool, verify and update information at all times in both the NEXUS tool and their Registration Sheets, daily capture the information collected during their visit with clients, capture adoptions from both the competition and the company in NEXUS (closing and updating phase) based on the collected lists.
  • Perform sample inventory and deliver the result to Sales Supervision and Management.
  • Properly manage their fixed fund and submit expense reports on the days indicated by Sales Management, prepare and deliver car logbook to the Region's sales assistant.
  • Analyze the growth potential of their zone (horizontal/vertical), make sales projections taking into account adoptions to maintain, as well as new ones, identify key schools in their zone to work on a personalized strategic plan, analyze company vs. competition results (qualitative/quantitative), present seasonal results by business line when required.
  • Attention to Booksellers and Distributors including presentation and training on new projects.

Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:

  • High school, technical career completed, or unfinished bachelor's degree.
  • English level: B1-B2 spoken.
  • At least 2 years of experience in field sales and face-to-face sales.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Office Suite proficiency.
  • Planning and time management.
  • Strategic thinking.
  • Process management.
  • Constant evaluation of results.
