Job Summary
Motorola Solutions is seeking a Public Safety Maintenance Technician to ensure the uninterrupted operation of critical communication equipment for Carabineros de Chile. This role involves preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of Motorola Solutions systems. The technician will be crucial in maintaining the reliability of technologies supporting public safety, enabling effective communication for a safer community. This position is vital for ensuring our client has the necessary tools to fulfill its mission.
Must Have
- Valid Class B driver's license
- At least 2 years of experience in energy, control and automation, telecommunications, connectivity, routers, switches, antennas, motors, and/or climate.
- Availability to travel within Chile.
Good to Have
- Telecommunications technician and/or similar qualification.
- Knowledge of radio communication systems.
- Experience with radio equipment, antennas, links and RF cabling.
- Knowledge of IP networks and communication protocols.
- Proficiency in diagnostic tools and measurement equipment (spectrum analyzers, power meters, etc.).

Job Description
The Public Safety Maintenance Technician is responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of critical Motorola Solutions communication equipment and systems deployed in the operations of Carabineros de Chile. This essential role ensures operational continuity and reliability of the technologies that support public safety, guaranteeing that Carabineros de Chile has the necessary tools to fulfill its mission.

Basic Requirements
Minimum requirements:
- Valid Class B driver's license
