Job Description

As a Manufacturing & Logistics Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and improving manufacturing processes, specifically within a battery production context. This includes optimizing process flow, participating in large projects, and supporting the development of manufacturing assembly processes for high-voltage batteries. The role requires an understanding of manufacturing best practices and HV/battery production, along with the ability to interact with different management levels. The job involves prototype process development, equipment specification, procurement, installation, and assembly as needed. As a Manufacutring & Logistics Engineer you will be responsible for;

  • Develop and improve all new manufacturing processes.
  • Improve the process flow of a specific battery production stage.
  • Participate as key member completion and resolution of the largest and most complex projects
  • Support the development of manufacturing assembly processes for high voltage batteries, battery manufacturing safety procedures, and manufacturing input tied to new product development
  • Assist with development of prototype process development, prototype equipment specification, procurement, and installation, and prototype assembly and evaluation as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering or relevant field)
  • 3+ years of professional experience consisting of manufacturing, process engineering as well as battery production. 
  • Being able to make recommendations for better plant layouts or make processes more efficient.
  • Must have experience with manufacturing best practices as well as experience with HV and battery production.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of management at the local and division levels

 

Salary Range $82,000-$88,000

The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience
