Job Description

The ME Technician is responsible for comprehensive mold management, including repair, maintenance, inspection, and cleaning. Key duties involve daily mold status checks, lubrication, and documentation. The role requires preparing molds according to production schedules, analyzing and resolving mold-related issues, and ensuring proper post-order maintenance and storage. Candidates should have a vocational or technical background, be proficient in computer use, and possess strong practical skills in mold repair, maintenance, and grinder operation, coupled with a solid understanding of plastic mold structures.
Must have:
  • Responsible for mold repair, maintenance, inspection, and cleaning.
  • Inspect mold status during each shift, timely clean mold surface, lubricate sliders and ejector pins.
  • Inspect, maintain, store, and record incoming molds.
  • Prepare molds in advance according to production plans and complete mold cleaning and maintenance.
  • Analyze abnormal mold problems and propose improvement suggestions.
  • Perform mold maintenance, rust removal, and storage after order completion.
  • Proficient in computer use.
  • Able to independently perform mold repair and maintenance.
  • Familiar with plastic mold structure and principles.
  • Familiar with grinder operation.
Good to have:
  • Proficiency in UG and CAD software
  • Experience with Insert Molding

Job Details

Job Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for mold repair, maintenance, inspection, and cleaning.

2. Inspect the status of molds in production during each shift, timely clean the mold surface, lubricate sliders and ejector pins, and fill out the "Mold Maintenance Form."

3. Inspect, maintain, store, and record incoming molds, and fill out the "Mold Receiving Inspection Form."

4. Prepare molds in advance according to production plans and complete mold cleaning and maintenance within the required timeframe.

5. Analyze abnormal mold problems and propose improvement suggestions.

6. Perform mold maintenance, rust removal, and storage after order completion.

Work Experience and Education Requirements:

Vocational or technical school degree or above. Proficient in computer use, preferably with UG and CAD skills. Able to independently perform mold repair and maintenance. Familiar with plastic mold structure and principles. Familiar with grinder operation. More than five years of experience in automotive & connector injection mold assembly and maintenance, Insert Molding preferred.
