Job Summary

Kavaliro is seeking a highly skilled Microsoft 365 Business Analyst to support a mission-focused customer at Camp Smith. This role requires strong expertise in SharePoint, Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and end-to-end workflow management, specifically the Request for Information (RFI) lifecycle. The ideal candidate will leverage Microsoft 365 capabilities to drive operational efficiency, enhance data accuracy, and support high-visibility assessments across a dynamic DoD environment. Responsibilities include maintaining SharePoint, building Power BI dashboards, developing Power Apps and Automate workflows, and ensuring data quality and security compliance.

Must Have

  • Experience working with DoD data, systems, or mission partners.
  • Strong proficiency in SharePoint (Lists, Views, Permissions).
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI for dashboards, data modeling, and visualization.
  • Experience developing Power Apps (canvas apps) and Power Automate workflows.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze business processes and recommend improvements.
  • Experience validating data, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring consistent reporting quality.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Valid U.S. Passport.
  • Active DoD TS clearance with SCI eligibility (TS/SCI).
  • Permanent U.S. citizenship.

Good to Have

  • Experience supporting intelligence or operational missions in a military or government setting.
  • Previous support to DoD, counter-drug, and law enforcement missions.
  • Familiarity with Command and Control of the Information Environment (C2IE).
  • Experience capturing, maintaining, and optimizing RFI workflows.
  • Power BI experience in developing tools and databases within a secure enclave.

Kavaliro is seeking a highly skilled Microsoft 365 Business Analyst to support a mission-focused customer at Camp Smith.

This role requires strong expertise in SharePoint, Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and end-to-end workflow management—specifically the Request for Information (RFI) lifecycle. The ideal candidate will leverage Microsoft 365 capabilities to drive operational efficiency, enhance data accuracy, and support high-visibility assessments across a dynamic DoD environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, manage, and optimize SharePoint Lists and Microsoft 365 data sources used for operational and performance reporting.
  • Build and update Power BI dashboards that visualize trends, metrics, and mission-critical insights.
  • Develop lightweight Power Apps and Power Automate workflows to streamline data collection, approvals, and the full RFI workflow process.
  • Capture, maintain, and enhance the RFI workflow to ensure accurate tracking and reporting across the enclave.
  • Assist in developing tools, dashboards, and databases within the enclave using Power BI and related Microsoft technologies.
  • Collaborate with analysts, operators, and leadership to gather requirements and convert them into actionable Microsoft 365 solutions.
  • Validate all data inputs, ensure data quality, and maintain accuracy in recurring reports and assessments.
  • Support high-visibility assessments through structured data analysis and refined reporting products.
  • Assist with SOP development, documentation, knowledge management, and user training.
  • Work with technical stakeholders to troubleshoot issues related to data access, workflows, SharePoint/List configurations, and permissions.
  • Ensure all solutions comply with DoD information security and classification requirements.

Required Education/Experience:

  • Experience working with DoD data, systems, or mission partners.
  • Strong proficiency in SharePoint (Lists, Views, Permissions).
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI for dashboards, data modeling, and visualization.
  • Experience developing Power Apps (canvas apps) and Power Automate workflows.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate operational needs into technical requirements.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and time-management abilities. Valid U.S. Passport.
  • Active DoD TS clearance with SCI eligibility (TS/SCI).

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience supporting intelligence or operational missions in a military or government setting.
  • Previous support to DoD, counter-drug, and law enforcement missions.
  • Familiarity with Command and Control of the Information Environment (C2IE).

Location:

  • Camp Smith, Hawaii
  • This position is onsite and there is no remote availability

Clearance Requirement:

  • Candidates must have an active TS/SCI security clearance
  • Applicant MUST hold a permanent U.S. citizenship for this position in accordance with government contract requirements.
