Summary:
Mentored by a QA lead and supported by your teammates based in the US and the Americas, you will help create custom enterprise and consumer applications and platforms. You will be responsible for end-to-end test and related QA process work. You will also play an integral role in understanding and validating QA requirements during sprint planning, in developing test cases based on user stories and acceptance criteria, and in building and running both automated tests and some manual tests ensure 360° delivery quality.
You will work with other engineers around the world to write clear, concise and readable acceptance tests in true BDD style. You'll build and maintain tests using Detox while analyzing and decomposing complicated software systems and designing strategies to test these systems. This person will be supporting the CST time zone.
Responsibilities:

Identifying and utilizing appropriate mobile automation frameworks and tools given the environment and situation (Detox for React Native, XCUITest for iOS, Espresso for Android, etc.).

Building, running and managing automated and manual tests based on user stories and acceptance criteria.

Reporting and analyzing test results and identifying bugs and defects. Includes providing clear steps crucial for efficient bug resolution to the development team.

Actively participate in the agile development lifecycle and ceremonies (backlog refinement, story sizing, sprint planning, standups, sprint reviews, retrospectives).

Contributing to the improvement of the mobile testing processes and delivery to our clients.
Required Skills:
-
3+ years of programming experience in Typescript, Swift, or Kotlin for both iOS and Android mobile applications.

3+ years demonstrated experience and expertise in developing automated tests using at least one of the following:

Detox framework for React Native UI testing.

XCUITest for iOS and Espresso for Android

3+ years of experience in managing Git source control and Git-flow practices.

Working knowledge of XML/JSON RESTful APIs as well as related testing tools such as Charles Proxy or Fiddler.

Experience with building and running CI/CD pipelines (Bitrise, Fastlane, Testflight, Jenkins).

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to analyzing test results, identifying bugs, and troubleshooting automation issues.

Ability to effectively communicate test requirements and findings with other testers and developers, to collaborate on test case development and test-related issues, and to work cohesively as part of a team.

Experience being part of a cross-functional agile (scrum or kanban) delivery team using Jira.
