Job Description

Do you see problems before they happen?

As an ELK Monitoring & Observability Engineer, you are like a detective in IT land: you identify weak spots, discover hidden bugs, and predict where incidents might arise. With Elastic AI, Search, and Assistant technologies, you help clients not only with traditional monitoring but also with smart analyses, predictive insights, and automated recommendations. This way, you ensure clients can work uninterrupted, while you maintain calm and control.

Together with the multidisciplinary Innovative Tech-team (I-tech), consisting of experts in DevOps, Agile, Cloud, and Software Engineering, you build smart solutions with cutting-edge technology, including AI-driven search and assistant functionalities from Elastic.

Your activities include:

• Implementation of monitoring solutions in the Elastic Stack, including Elastic Agent, integrations, and AI-driven insights;
• Development of smart alerting, dashboards, and AI-driven recommendations for insight into IT performance;
• Advice and support for data management, security, and search-driven insights, with a focus on Search, Security, and Observability;
• Integration of Elastic Assistant and AI Search to accelerate analyses and help users make faster decisions.

Job Requirements

For this position, we are looking for all experience levels.

Must-have

• You have experience with one or more of Elastic’s three pillars: Search, Security, and Observability. Whether you are a specialist in one domain or have broader experience: you know how Elasticsearch, Kibana, Elastic Agent, and integrations contribute to collecting, securing, and making data insightful. You have at least expertise in one area and the ambition to further deepen or broaden your knowledge.
• You enjoy growing as a consultant – from junior to principal. You combine technical expertise with skills such as listening, advising, presenting, and translating between technology and business. Whether you are at the beginning of your career or already experienced: you are focused on growth, collaboration, and impact.
• You want to actively contribute to our Elastic-community. As a Search, Security, or Observability specialist, you get energy from sharing knowledge, collaborating, and learning from others. Proactivity, passion, and curiosity are what we value most.

Nice-to-have

• You communicate clearly – in your own way. Whether through documentation, workshops, dashboards, or demos: you know how to convincingly convey your insights to others.
• You have a good command of the Dutch language, or you are willing to learn it. Many of our clients and projects require Dutch-language communication, so this will help you succeed in your role.
