About the Work
Introduction to the Merchant Strategy Division
Our division is responsible for planning and promoting new business development and new services. Leveraging the business foundation cultivated through our payment services, including 70 million users and a nationwide network of merchants, we are developing services that strongly support merchants' various initiatives (sales promotion/customer acquisition, store operations, etc.). Our mission is to create new value from the platform by leading from the conception stage through service planning, development, and growth.

Background of Recruitment
The merchant business, which has become the second pillar of revenue, is now evolving into a growth phase. To strategically design our business portfolio and new services, we are recruiting management talent to lead business strategy formulation and business development alongside the head of the Merchant Strategy Division. You will be involved in the challenge of "evolving the business structure itself" in an environment where you can design upstream strategies with the latest AI, including alliances with external partners and M&A, and new business creation.
Job Responsibilities
As a core manager in the Merchant Strategy Division, you will lead the overall business strategy formulation and execution. You will work closely with management and the division head to promote a wide range of themes, from expanding existing businesses to creating new ones.
- Designing business strategies and market scenarios
- Formulating and promoting growth strategies for existing businesses based on data analysis
- Conceiving new businesses and services, modeling business plans, and designing KPIs
- Planning and executing alliances and M&A strategies with external partner companies
- Automating and enhancing information organization, hypothesis generation, and document creation using generative AI

- Experience in business development or corporate planning at a business company
- Practical experience as a consultant in a management consulting firm (strategy consulting/strategy division of a general consulting firm)

Desirable Experience/Skills
- Business English proficiency
- Work experience in the cashless industry
- Work experience in fast-paced companies (IT, venture, etc.)

- Hybrid Workstyle (office, home or satellite office for remote work)

Working Hours
- Super flex-time system (no core time)
- Principle: 9:00 AM - 5:45 PM (7 hours 45 minutes actual work + 1 hour break)
Holidays
- Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays, year-end and New Year holidays, and company-designated days
Leave (Statutory Leave and Company Benefits)
- Annual paid leave (14 days in the first year, prorated by joining month. Usable from joining date)
