Job Description

Join TVH as a New Customer Care Specialist, focusing on building customer connections, identifying sales opportunities, and providing ongoing support. This role involves managing new and existing customer relationships, developing low-value accounts, and leveraging sales processes in the material handling and industrial parts markets. You will navigate ERP and CRM systems to manage product information, backorders, and customer claims, ensuring clients are well-informed and supported.
Must Have:
  • Grow and maintain customers including taking inbound and making outbound calls
  • Develop low value, new and/or inactive customers
  • Build and foster effective customer relationships and sales opportunities
  • Leverage knowledge of sales processes for the material handling, industrial parts and/or construction markets
  • Navigate and research information within company ERP and CRM systems
  • Notify customers of all backordered items and provide delivery dates
  • Communicate with customers to gather necessary claim information
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in inside sales, customer support, or a related role with a strong focus on cold calling and lead generation
  • Demonstrate expertise in cold calling techniques
  • Solid understanding of the material handling and industrial parts industry
  • Exhibit excellent relationship-building skills
  • Show proficiency in leveraging ERP and CRM systems

Join our team as a New Customer Care Specialist, where you’ll create meaningful connections with customers, uncover sales opportunities, and provide ongoing, value-added communication that keeps our clients informed and supported.

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Grow and maintain customers including taking inbound and making outbound calls to a variety of new and existing customers.
  • Develop low value, new and/or inactive customers.
  • Build and foster effective customer relationships and sales opportunities to support meeting required sales objectives.
  • Leverage knowledge of sales processes for the material handling, industrial parts and/or construction markets to identify customer needs, present all appropriate products and services.
  • Navigate and research information within company ERP and CRM systems to check product price and availability, correspond and enter customer feedback and/or action items.
  • Notify customers of all backordered items and provide delivery dates.
  • Communicate with customers to gather necessary claim information.

HOW TO SUCCEED

To excel in this sales position, candidates should bring a minimum of 2 years of experience in inside sales, customer support, or a related role with a strong focus on cold calling and lead generation. Successful candidates will:

  • Demonstrate expertise in cold calling techniques, effectively qualifying leads, and acquiring new customers to drive sales growth.
  • Have a solid understanding of the material handling and industrial parts industry, including key products, customer needs, suppliers, and vendors.
  • Exhibit excellent relationship-building skills to engage prospects, handle objections, and convert leads into loyal customers.
  • Show proficiency in leveraging ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems to track leads, manage pipelines, and optimize sales strategies.
