Job Summary

Greenworks Tools, a leader in battery-powered outdoor power tools, is seeking an Omni Sales Manager for Walmart. This role involves managing sales and profitability growth, creating account vision, and fostering strong relationships with Walmart's senior merchants and buyers. The manager will be responsible for sales strategies, P&L management, forecasting, promotional activities, and product line development to maximize opportunities at Walmart.

Must Have

  • Establish and implement sales strategies to support sales and profit
  • Manage overall financial P&L and business segments to achieve sales growth and profit goals
  • Forecast customer product needs monthly through demand/forecasting function
  • Actively participate in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings
  • Manage overall business including excess finished goods and back-up inventory flow
  • Attend and participate in key trade and customer events representing Greenworks
  • Communicate activity formally and informally, including weekly updates for Walmart
  • Provide regular, factual market feedback to VP Sales and Product Development Teams
  • Manage and track Walmart promotional activities
  • Assist product management teams in developing product line to maximize opportunities at Walmart
  • Assist management to determine product needs, marketing programs, merchandising needs
  • Prepare required and special reports (verbal and written)
  • Recommend policies including warranty, returns, credit, and distribution planning
  • Provide input to the strategic planning
  • Assist in establishing sales and managing selling expense budget for the Walmart account
  • Ability to manage and plan multiple tasks/projects
  • Total understanding of profitability goals and ability to execute plan to achieve goals for both Greenworks and Walmart
  • Work closely and effectively with core business influences (marketing, product management, new product development, sales support, credit, operations, engineering, etc.)
  • Solid understanding of Scintilla (basic and charter) and demonstrated ability to identify opportunity
  • Demonstrated ability to work with financial numbers, both in presentations and written communications
  • Forecasting inventory needs and ability to evaluate new opportunities
  • Superior people, oral/written/listening communication
  • Proactive business approach, actively involved in critical customer issues
  • Ability to present professional presentations to multiple level team members, customers, vendors, and others
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Business or Marketing
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in the consumer durable products industry through sales, product management, or
  • Proven successful track record and relationships with Walmart
  • Solid computer skills with experience in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word Processing, PowerPoint)

Position Summary:

Manage and direct sales and profitability growth of Greenworks products at Walmart. Create the vision for the account and work closely with key internal functions on strategy and direction. Develops strong relationships with the senior merchant, buyer and their assistants.
