Job Summary
Unisys is seeking an Onsite IT/AV Support Technician in London to manage AV tickets, video conferencing, and maintain AV equipment inventory. The role involves diagnosing and resolving issues with AV products and computer-related equipment in meeting rooms, managing ServiceNow tickets, and providing desk-side technical support. The technician will also perform maintenance, regular inspections, and work with vendors to ensure service level agreements are met, especially during high-pressure business events.
Must Have
- Strong audio visual and video conferencing knowledge
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Good knowledge of Audio-Visual, Digital Signage & VC Systems
- Experience of installing AV & IT hardware and software and diagnosing & resolving problems
- Ability to plan and prioritize workload with good time management
- Ability to work under pressure
- Competent to a high level of computer literacy
- Able to work as part of a team
- Good communication skills both verbal and written
- Diagnose general issues with industry standard AV products
- Manage tickets in client’s ServiceNow environment
- Provide AV related technical support to customers

- Work with local Facilities Management and 3rd party vendors

Job Description
Unisys are looking for an AV Technician, with strong audio visual and video conferencing knowledge, to support our customer in London.Responsibilities: * The distribution and management of AV tickets, ad-hoc AV requests and video conferencing * Maintain an inventory of supported rooms/suites and AV equipment therein * Assist in providing data for reporting purposes * Deal with day-to-day administrative duties and any ad-hoc duties required * Diagnose general issues with industry standard AV products as well as other computer-related products in meeting rooms/spaces and conference suites * May be directed by Help Desk, Service Desk, or script using standard methods, techniques, and tools * Manage tickets in client’s ServiceNow environment * Provides AV related technical support to customers in solving technical problems that occur during the operation of company supported products * Desk side support specialist with good customer service manner * May have project management responsibilities for smaller projects * Performs maintenance as required * Perform regular inspections to ensure AV equipment is setup and working correctly * Provides follow-up on problems or escalation * Work with local Facilities Management and 3rd party vendors where necessary to resolve issues (including escorting of OEM’s/Vendor support staff) * Ensures client specific Service Level Agreements are met and incident and request tickets are updated accordingly within the ticketing system * Support the clients high pressure new business events### You will be successful in this role if you have: * Previous experience in a similar role * Good knowledge of Audio-Visual, Digital Signage & VC Systems * Experience of installing AV & IT hardware and software and diagnosing & resolving problems * Ability to plan and prioritize workload with good time management * Ability to work under pressure * Competent to a high level of computer literacy * Able to work as part of a team * Good communication skills both verbal and written
