The Operations Promotion Division is a strategic operational organization that supports PayPay's rapid growth through both "driving business forward" and "stable foundational operations." It handles fundamental tasks such as user and corporate credit screening, identity verification, and fraud prevention, while also promoting the establishment of control and management systems to achieve zero operational incidents and the advancement of fraud prevention measures to address new technologies like deepfakes. Furthermore, it is advancing automation and AI implementation to minimize human operations, and optimizing inter-organizational collaboration and governance to maximize investment in these areas. In a rapidly changing market environment, our mission in the Operations Promotion Division is to simultaneously achieve "safety, efficiency, and growth" by leveraging technology and data.
The Headquarters Planning Office serves as the "brain" of the Operations Promotion Division, leading strategic operations as a core team. It oversees the entire division's projects, budgets, contracts, and KPIs, strategically supporting the foundation and operation to ensure the organization performs at its maximum potential. To support these efforts, it designs monitoring indicators such as KPIs and personnel evaluation systems, leading the balance between productivity and quality across the division. Furthermore, it positions organizational strategy as a theme for business growth, designing management that clearly outlines goals and roadmaps. It also works on optimizing operations through co-creation with external partners, such as designing SLAs and supporting productivity improvements to maximize collaboration efficiency with BPO vendors and consulting partners. PayPay is expanding its business scope across the entire financial and economic domain through collaboration with group companies such as PayPay Card, PayPay Securities, and PayPay Bank, with payment services at its core. We are currently in a dynamic growth phase, moving beyond payments to form the "PayPay Economic Zone." In this context, the Operations Promotion Division is increasingly required to formulate and execute mid-to-long-term strategies, looking 2-3 years ahead, not just single-year plans. As the business scale expands, new challenges are constantly emerging in the operational domain. This position is responsible for clearly organizing the division's strategy and strongly driving its execution on the ground, in order to maximize synergy across the entire group and create new services and mechanisms. We are looking for colleagues who can grow with us, taking on a central role in building PayPay's future through close collaboration with management.
