Job Summary

APM Terminals is seeking an Operational Auxiliary for its DEPOT team in Pecém, Brazil. The role involves supporting preventive and corrective maintenance of port equipment, ensuring smooth operations and safety. Responsibilities include visual inspection of containers, handling goods, maintaining terminal circulation, and assisting other operational teams. Must Have

  • Perform visual inspection of received containers for services and report non-conformities or damages.
  • Handle goods from containers or trucks, check for damages, and inform the immediate leader about the cargo condition.
  • Assist in daily terminal activities to keep circulation routes clear and ensure constant attention to traffic flow.
  • Perform other activities of the same nature and complexity as requested by the area manager.
  • Assist other Operational Area teams to maintain functional routines and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Inform the immediate leader of discrepancies found during container or merchandise inspection for resolution according to internal terminal norms.
  • Forward situations of damaged equipment or goods, missing seals, and dangerous materials received to the immediate superior.
  • High school diploma.
  • Experience with port movement.
  • Mandatory courses: NR10 and NR35 – Small Forklift Operator.

We are looking for an Operational Auxiliary to join our DEPOT team at the Pecém terminal. If you want to work in a dynamic, collaborative, and safe environment, this is the ideal opportunity! You will support preventive and corrective maintenance activities for port equipment, contributing to the smooth functioning of operations and ensuring everyone's safety. Main responsibilities:

  • Perform visual inspection of received containers for services and report non-conformities or damages;
  • Act in the movement of goods from containers or trucks, check the handled goods for damages and inform the immediate leader about the cargo condition;
  • Assist in daily terminal activities, in order to keep terminal circulation routes clear and ensure constant attention to traffic flow;
  • Perform other activities, of the same nature and degree of complexity, according to the requests of the Area Manager;
  • Assist other Operational Area teams to maintain functional routines and ensure customers are well served in their needs.
  • Inform the immediate leader of discrepancies found during container or merchandise inspection so that they can seek a solution according to the Terminal's internal norms;
  • Forward situations of damaged equipment or goods, missing seals, and dangerous materials received to the immediate superior.

  • Education: High school diploma.
  • Experience: With port movement.
  • Mandatory courses: NR10 and NR35 – Small Forklift Operator.
